This was one of the best things I’ve done in my entire life! I’m a moderately adventurous 50 year old, who had never rock-climbed before, so I chose the easiest route. It was THRILLING to be standing on sheer rock faces, yet be clipped in and completely safe. It was an interesting combination of climbing the iron rails, and in areas where natural hand– and foot-holds were available, utilizing those. What an exciting way to experience the gorgeous crags and surrounding views, without any significant danger. Really, this should be on everyone’s bucket list. A real surprise.

Most fun you can have in the mountains! The Via Ferrata is a blast. I went with a group of friends a couple weeks ago and we are still talking about it. Nice hike and then instruction before you get to climb. No experience necessary. You just have to be will to have fun and go out of your comfort zone. Worth every penny. The guides are terrific and you will love every moment spent on Via Ferrata.

The Via Ferrata on Mt. Ogden is an absolutely incredible adventure. It is an amazing and convenient way to enjoy a european style of climbing right here in the states! During my ski trip to Utah, my friends and I wanted to climb, but we were all different levels of climbers. Via Ferrata tended to our varieties of experience and provided us the opportunity to work together. The climb was extremely rewarding, and the view from the top was beyond breathtaking! Any person who enjoys the mountains in Utah must experience them in this fashion. The climb was visually appealing and a great workout! Upon any stay in Utah, Via Ferrata is necessary!

As someone who’s slightly afraid of heights I was somewhat hesitant to try out the Via Ferrata. However, I can now say that I am so glad that I did! The climb itself was challenging, yet definitely within the average person’s ability, while the views from the mountain were absolutely spectacular. Our guide was also incredibly knowledgeable, and before we realized it the day had flown by. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Via Ferrata to any of my friends, and I know that I’ll certainly be back the next time I’m in Utah!
