Low efficiency and terrible food. I ordered a median cooked flat iron steak, they gave me a nearly well done one! Also, they even charged me side dish without telling me that.

We were staying the attached Comfort Suites and heading out early so we ate at Cactus Reds. My husband had the ribs and they were okay. I had the chicken tacos and they were my favorite meal from our 3 week trip. I’m going to try and make them now that I’m home. Even my husband thought they were awesome!

Decent Chef salad. The Whole is 2 meals. I had to remind them to bring an avocado, the chef salad comes with one. Friendly staff. *I saw a guy send back his baby back ribs because he said they weren’t baby back. They did look gigantic.

My husband and i ate here last night. I got the pork chop dinner. It was succulently juicy and so flavorful. The new menu looks amazing. I would order the chops again in a heart beat! Even better than the dinner though, was our waitress, Sydney. She was extremwly attentive and accommodating. She was amazing … Thanks, Sydney!

My family and I ate after traveling for two days from California. We were a little hesitant eating at a Utah Mexican restaurant since we come from the town with authentic Mexican. With that being said, Cactus Reds definitely did not dissapoint. We were extremely exhausted, weary and cranky and Amber boosted our spirits from the minute we walked in,(which was 20 minutes until close). We ordered the Southwest Salad, Mahi Mahi tacos, chicken stick with a side of Chili Verde, Chili Verde burrito and Southwest burger. We also ordered 3 side salads. The 3 side salads were amazing. Large spinach leaves, raddicio, and frisè with fresh tomato wedge and cucumber slices. Southwest Salad Came in a crispy tortilla shell full of the above mentioned mixed greens and mounds of smoked shredded beef. My Aunts Mahi Mahi tacos boasted fresh fish, with amazing mango salsa and lime. My other Aunt enjoyed her chicken stick and said it was flavorful and delicious. My boyfriends burger Was cooked medium well with a juicy Patty and the best homemade barbecue sauce he has have ever had. My chili verde burrito was super delicious with smoked chunks of pork(not too smoky either because that can be nasty) with a super spicy green tomatillo sauce. Now… I can take heat but it was super hot!!! But still delicious! ! My entrée came with cilantro lime white rice and beans. Sydney was magnificent as our waitress.(Thank you for the brownies!!!)This place now makes ALL food in house(new menu!) with nothing frozen or processed. Please give it a chance! :)

Traveled all day, ordered room service for a fee of $ 2.00. Restaurant opens at 5 pm. I ordered a rack of ribs with plans of having left overs. It was a waste of $ 32.00, the ribs are very spicy(actually had pepper flakes) and tuff. I sat my tray back in the hallway with the other half rack of ribs. Probably the worst ribs I’ve ever had. I’ve been to both hotels on the parking lot several times and when I ask how’s the restaurant, they replied it’s «OK». Maybe something other than ribs would be better and meet the standard of OK. I would rate the ribs as «below expectations». Service was fast and friendly.

I was there Saturday with a friend and while we where eating I heard a lady in the kitchen cussing at someone horribly so much so that my friend even turned to look it was so embarrassing I have been there several times since I moved here but was my first time with this particular friend… She was saying what the f*** you think your being a f****** a** and it continued from there… I never in my life felt that uncomfortable in a restaurant… I love your food but as long as you employ someone like that I can’t return… I would have given you a five star rating on your restaurant for the food and my server but whom ever was talking in such a manner really left a bad taste in my mouth. I would expect more from you guys than to employ such a unprofessional person… I will return but only once I know this person could never embarrass me like that… Sincerely Dawn

I read the reviews before deciding to give cactus reds a chance. It was close to the hotels and seemed like something worth trying. I figured it wouldn’t be that bad… it was. I had a wrap, my friend had the roast beef sandwich. Both were very bland, but edible. We left with the taste of regret in our mouths.

Showed up about two hours before closing. Hardly anyone inside. Order chicken tenders, they were terrible. Charcoal in color, cold vegetables, and cold bake potato. I would highly recommend eating somewhere else.

I’m not generally a fan of hotel restaurants, but we were exhausted and hungry so we decided to give this place a try. We got our menus and noticed that they serve a little bit of everything… which usually means a place isn’t really good at anything. Not so here! Husband had the fajita salad and I had the fajita pita off the specials menu, both meals were very good! I thought their kids menu was a little on the pricey side but whatever… the whole tab was reasonable so it’s all good.

Sun night, 7 pm reservations for 11 guests, a family get together. Our relatives from St George, Santa Monica, San Francisco area and Tucson. I can say this was literally a complete disaster for food and service. I have called the Manager with no Call Back. We came in an RV ordered appetizers for cocktail hour in the RV. The food never arrived after 1 hour we went into the restaurant and said we will have them at table. They arrived 20 minutes later in Styrofoam Boxes, as they were passed around the table they spilled on my sister. . We were all so happy to be together we got over waiting for our appetizers, We had 3 large orders of Prime Rib YUMMY. They informed us 1 hour after ordering that they were out of Prime Rib! Ok we all are easy we don’t mind waiting 3 hours for dinner. They got the salad out just fine. One of our teens asked for 1 roll and was denied because it didn’t come with her dinner. Not a problem she only waited 2 hours so far, what the problem? Food poisoning is the only memorable thing we can say came from the shrimp. Maybe the waitress complaining about short staff. With all the nice restaurants in Ogden we had to pick that joint? This was a 3 hour Dinner with bad food and a waitress who kept reminding us how tired she was. Check out Unilocal I have given 40 plus restaurant reviews. I am not new at this. I always give the benefit of a doubt to restaurants as I know everybody has a bad night once in a while

Food was decent, but the service was abysmal. Multiple mistakes were made on orders and beers had to be ordered repeatedly, as they were forgotten.

Three stars are for nice waitress. Otherwise, food was dismal – inedible chili, French dip beef ok, but bun was soggy.

We’re traveling across country from Washington State headed towards Tennessee. We stayed overnight at the Holiday Inn Express which is right across the parking lot from Cactus Reds. We called in our order for pickup. They will deliver it to your room but they charge you a $ 2 fee and 15% gratuity. Needless to say, we opted to take the few extra steps and picked up the food on our own. I ordered the Cactus Reds specialty menu item, the pot roast. It came with your choice of a soup or salad and included a dinner roll. I opted for the salad with a white wine vinaigrette dressing. Once I got back to my room, I realized they forgot our dinner rolls. I walked back over and ended up having to wait a couple minutes. I wasn’t thrilled about that considering I had hot food waiting for me in the room and now, it would be cold once I got back. Thankfully, the food was so delicious that I didn’t care if it wasn’t as hot once I returned to my room. The pot roast was tender and smothered in gravy with carrots and onions. The perfect roast combination if you ask me. It came with delicious steamed vegetables and a side item of your choice, I chose mashed potatoes and gravy. The dinner roll was nice and dense and it came with this delicious sweet butter. The white wine vinaigrette dressing for my salad was a sweet, light, topping but it had a small kick to it. After my experience, I would recommend this place to others. The only thing that prevented five stars was the lack of accuracy in our order.

Grilled Shrimp & Grilled Steak, overall tasting and potion is very good then don’t mind Unilocal review, I recommend this restaurant.

I had the spring salad. It was amazing. Very good. The wait staff was fast and efficient. I had a blonde woman tall, thin. She was very fast with the service and reccomended the salad. Great prices, great food, this is a no brainer. Eat here.

Very pleasant and efficient staff. Food was very good except the rarest prime rib they had was too well done for my taste. Vegetables were very good as we’re their million dollar potatoes. Prices were reasonable. Felt just slightly rushed.

I enjoyed this stop. I can not say much as we only had nacho’s and calamari. Calamari pieces were huge.

Cilantro filled salt lick… from the burritos to the nachos everything was horrid… it may be close by… but is is costly… in several ways. Wicked expensive, very slow, and that was for take out… we didn’t even take them up on the room service options. There is a reason the only photo is of the view… it’s the best past of the experience!
