Starting with the bad. The hotel smells like beer. They gave us a room by the pool and pass midnight people were still splashing. Air conditioned was quite loud. On the positive side, the room was quite clean with a small fridge and microwave. The reason I gave them 3 stars is because the employees were very friendly and attentive and the free breakfast was great: bacon, eggs, sausages, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, assortment of cereals, waffles etcetc. In general is an ok place for a one night stop on your road trip.

This is place was quite the little gem tucked just off the highway. The lobby was extremely clean and well kept, the staff was very friendly and helped to give me and even better rate than I initially thought. On the way to the room you pass through the pool area that is set up to look kind of like an atrium, really nice pool area completely inclosed. The rooms aren’t anything spectacular, but they are very clean and functional, they have the standard amenities you’d expect, fridge, microwave and television. The pillows were a little flat for my liking but the overall the beds were comfortable. The room was warm initially walking in, as expected in the spring/summer months in west Texas, the A/C cooled it down in no time. My wife and I are generally warm sleepers and we ended up turning the air down. The breakfast was probably the best part, I was thinking continental breakfast, with your typical poorly mixed waffle mix coupled with cereal and milk and orange juice. NOT in this case, it was a full breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, waffles, and cereal. It was actually very good too not what you’d expect from the hotel breakfast for sure. If I am ever passing through the Odessa area overnight again this will be my stop.

Pretty lame. I booked 3 rooms. I drew the bad one. My room had so much air freshener it was sickening. My AC would freeze up, and as it thawed, it dripped water on the bathroom floor, flooding it. The smoke alarm beeped every minute. There was duct tape over the door, holding down the carpet. Toilet seat had been replaced with a child size. Shower scalded me when someone next to me turned their hot water off. My sons too had what looks like a bloody hand print on the wall. I paid for all three rooms on Priceline, and they charged again for one at checkout and could not figure out how to reverse the charges. Breakfast was hearty. Pool area was nice.
