Cute museum /archives /library, has quite a bit of info on who was pres /1st lady /vp and when. The bulk of what you see is either artwork of presidents or stuff that’s been donated. The dolls dressed as First Ladies kind of freaked me out, but I loved the presidential bobble heads! The lady working their was a born and bread Texan, and very passionate about her job, explained a lot to us non Americans that I wasn’t expecting — so made it much easier to give the suggested $ 5 donation at the end — especially because she wasn’t pushy. Of all the painted portraits of more recent presidents, Clinton is the only one with his left hand in his pocket hiding his wedding ring. Pure co-incidence, I think not! I’d definitely recommend a quick stop if you’re a non american in the area.

It’s a collection of presidential memorabilia. Interesting to see, but nothing special. $ 5 donation per adult($ 3 for students). Tour of the Bush house is only on weekdays.

We found this by accident while driving through Texas, looking for a place to have lunch. They should advertise this more! This is a Presidential library, with collections by President George H.W. Bush. It was closed when we were there but wander out back and you’ll find a house where President Bush and family lived for a while. President George W. Bush played in that yard as a child. Neat place to explore and not far off the beaten path.
