HORRIBLE! Waste of money for lazy stylist that need to go back to school to learn the basics.

I had a Gelish mani and pedi with Yanick using a Amazon Local deal. Probably one of the best mani/​pedis I’ve had. Yanick is so down to earth and easy to talk to. She made me sure I was completely comfortable and did a great job on my nails. It was nice that she was the only nail person there because I didn’t feel like I was someone to get done and over with as fast as possible. I would recommend her to anyone and I if got my nails done more often I would go to her every time.

DON’T LET A COUPLE OF LOW RATINGS FOOL YOU! Sometimes it is best to give it a try for yourself. I had an appointment for a sew in and the service was great. My appointment was with the stylist Latonya. I really loved my hair and it lasted for a very long time. I was referred by a long time client and her hair is always looking sleek and trendy. I will definitely be going back on a regular.

I made a 10:30am appointment. The stylist did not start on me until 11:45am she swore she did not know I was there for her… :-/​so, she tell me to sit in her chair and it had hair ALL OVER IT from the previous woman that was in the chair… So, when I was wiping off the chair they started looking at me like I was being disrespectful… So, I told her I wanted my hair cut in layers… Bad mistake! She literally cut it in layer :-(like a 3 layer cake :-/​the worst hair cut ever… So that was my first and last time there

I had my hair cut by LaTonya Thomas at Hair on Me. MY biggest complaint on the entire service was the haircut. My hair was not cut at the length that I asked for. I even asked before she actually made the first cut if it would be long enough to look like the picture I brought, which I then showed. She assured me that it would «fall down» to the length that I desired. She was in a rush to get me out of the salon, and I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes to get my haircut done. It seemed as if she over booked that day. At the end, she seemed to like her own hair work on my hair and took a picture of it. I asked a last time about the length on the hair cut, and she actually started to cut more off. It was terribly uneven, with long and short spots in my hair. It did not look any better after she cut the last time. By the end of the session my hair started to turn up at the tips and frizz, therefore I believed the poor appearance was due to the frizz. I later washed and styled it to check, but it hadn’t achieved neither the look or length I asked for and I did not get the quality I expect for $ 95 worth of service.

I had a mani pedi with Yanick last night, and it was a great experience. She is very welcoming and even educated me about my nails and how to take the best care of them, since I rarely get mani’s or pedi’s. I would give her 5 stars! However, I am ranking it overall only 3 stars because I used a Groupon for this service and it was difficult to schedule an appointment. I tried for a couple of weeks calling and using the online tool to no avail. Once I got a hold of Yanick though everything was fine, and she offers late evening appointments which is perfect for my schedule. Overall, Yanick was fantastic but I think if they do the Groupon deals again they should consider limiting the amount they issue or hire more people so scheduling isn’t an issue.

It’s hair raising nail work experience; a different way of getting nails done. It’s okay but not perfect. Yanick was nice and accommodating. But maybe, Nails Today next to it would be what it should be.
