When the death of a loved one comes unexpectedly you don’t know where to turn. Such was the case for our family. My daughter researched funeral homes in the area to see what reviews were available. Donaldson had 2 of the best reviews we’d seen so we chose Donaldson. Like the other reviews say, Gina and Mr. Bowen were 2 of the best people I have ever worked with. They were truly sympathetic, caring and understanding. No high-​pressure tactics. Gina explained what was available and then just let us make our own decisions. She anticipated our needs even before we knew what questions to ask. From start to finish Gina and Mr. Bowen made this a less stressful experience than it might otherwise have been. My heartfelt thanks to each of them. They are the best.

Choosing a funeral home for the first time is bizarre because you are reeling from the death of a loved one and do not know what to do, ask, or look for. We went to Unilocal to research the two closest ones and each had only one review, Donaldson’s being 5 stars. We choose them and are very glad we did. They were sympathetic, caring, understanding, calm, supportive, knowledgeable, patient, thorough, helpful, professional, kind, everything we needed at that difficult time. I cannot imagine any other funeral home doing a better job. We worked closely with Gina in all of the planning and Donna on the day of the ceremony. Both of them were wonderful and their management should be proud of them.

During my time of pain & sorrow, I’m very fortunate to have met Mr. William Bowen the general manager. Losing a loved one is difficult enough and Mr. Bowen was compassionate, understanding and he just listened. I don’t know if you’ll see this Mr. Bowen, but thank you from the bottom of my heart.
