First, the on-line pictures of this place to not look like the actual place. We had reservations for Space #20, mear the restrooms. When we got there, we were put in Space #28, quite a distance away. When we went back to the office, we were told«We had to move you,» no reasoin given. When we pushed it, they gave us another space that was satisfactory, but it took a bit of discussion and we never got what we were promised in the first place. The restrooms were out of toilet paper and hand soap. The showers were supposed to last twelve minutes(for $ 2), but seemed far shorter and there was no way to get a token to finish and rinse off. Two employees were nice, but two were consistently rude, not what we usually deal with while on trips. If you are totally sdelf-systaining and don’t mind dealing with rude people, this place might be all right. But we like to use restrooms and things like that. The chances we will return to the area are very high; the chances we will return to this park are nil.

Out in the middle of the desert by it’s self on 78. (about 10 miles east of Ocotilla Wells) A rare chance to feel what a 1940’s roadside dinner was like. I gave it 5 stars for the experience. Also has Food & Beer.
