Fresh & Green Market

This is a great store if you are looking for alternative products. I do not do dairy or gluten and can usually find what I am looking for here. The owner is very passionate about her store and carrying good quality products.

4-​Stars with reservations. This is a great little store in Oconomowoc that sells a great selection of organic stock.
They have a small bulk section, and they also sell wine, beer and some hard alcohol.
Here’s the breakdown
The Good
They have local produce as well as many of the brands that organic shoppers like to see. The owners are VERY nice and are willing to answer questions and make suggestions. They were willing to look into ordering things they did not have. Decent freezer with organic meats. And Organic eggs and dairy too.
The Bad
The prices are a bit higher, but that’s to be expected, and it’s a nice convenience in the area.
The Ugly
Here’s where my reservations come in. The veggie section is a little rough. During the summer it was better, as they carry a lot of local produce. But when I was in over the weekend, they had stock that really needed to be removed. Dried out clementine oranges (like rock hard dried out). It just needs to get a good following so that the turnover gets better.
In short
They are a great local business that really should succeed. So stop in, see what they have and you might be surprised at what’s in your back yard!
