Unless if you want to «tote in» your own take-​out, pick a lock, light a few candles and sit on duh floor, ya better go searching for another dinning experience.
Business is very closed as peeping in the windows one can confidently surmise, and for a «berry long time» .
— so, now where the hell am I to find as good an Eggplant Rollantini so close to my villa?

Just moved to the area, and stopped in one day for a couple of slices. Pizza is very good. Reminds me of NY. So, my wife and I ordered a whole pie, with a Greek salad one evening. We were very happy with it. We will be ordering from here again.

The paleo lifestyle does have it’s downfalls. One of which is keeping Italian restaurants off limits. Well, tonight neither of us felt like cooking so we decided to give Papa Gio’s a try and use the deal coupon from Unilocal.What a great meal! My favorite part was the Caesar salad — not one piece of whimpy snotty lettuce! The dressing was flavorful and not overloaded. Perfect!
I decided to try the grouper special and was very pleased. The outer breading could be skipped but that’s just me. The sauce was a flavorful lemon butter sauce with basil and tomatoes. I can’t rate the pasta since I try to avoid starches. I did however try the bread and the dipping sauce and was pleasantly awarded with «worth the carbs» texture and flavor.
Our server Jeremy was very pleasant and did a great job with his recommendation.
I hope Papa Gio’s will keep serving quality food with good service for quite a while because I definitely want to go back.

Found this place with the help of Unilocal reviews. Took some finding as our sat nav wasn’t too accurate, by the time we arrived, restaurant was almost empty although when I booked the guy said that he would be able to squeeze us in, on arrival he told us they had been busy. However, food very good, the flatbread pizza with garlic & cheese we had as a starter was superb, my wife had the lasagne which was very tasty, I had the seafood marinara which came heaped with lots of shellfish in a rich tomato sauce & again was very good; only minor criticism would be that the sauce was extremely salty (not sure whether it was the seafood or like a lot of American food that’s just the way it comes), would have marked this up to 5 stars if not for this plus the place lacked a bit of atmosphere due to it being half empty.

yummy!!! being from nj, this pizza is about 95% just like up north. the service is good when it is not tooooo busy in there. but the food is outstanding. bravo boys!!! oh the pizza sauce is well fogitnabout!!! lol thanks papa!!! drove there last night!!! wtf!!! closed over night??? nthat sucks!!!

Got take out and my salad was so brown it was inedible. The pasta dishes were underwhelming and bland. The bread was a sub roll sliced up, not even warmed.

My family LOVES Papa Gio’s! The food is always good and is run by a very nice family. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive. We have eaten there multiple times, and from pizza to entrees, no matter what we have ordered, everything has always been very good. I am from NY, and I finally found pizza I like in Florida! When I am not in a pizza mood, I particularly like the veal piccata. Garlic knots are wonderful, as well. It’s a great family neighborhood restaurant.

Found a coupon online called the same day, was spoken down too and told it was no good, manager was not helpful either and said he would not honor coupon on their website. There was no expiration date on it and like I said it was there the day that I called. Very upset with the fact that they are not willing to do the right thing by their customers or in the case former customer.

Gave this place a try with a bit of guilt since it opened in the same strip mall where a neighborhood pizzeria has been reigning supreme for some time now. The interior is nice with plenty of booth seating. Our waiter was very pleasant. We ordered a mediterranean pizza, garlic rolls and child spaghetti. The pizza was surprisingly very good! The crust was borderline amazing. The rolls were very big and served with a side of marinara sauce. We asked for the child’s spaghetti to be split for our two children and the split portion was very substantial. Overall we had a great experience & definitely plan to sneak by Marco Anthony’s every once and a while to have a great specialty pizza from Papa Gio’s.

Excellent food and friendly helpful service, definitely try the linguine and clam sauce.
All the dishes we ordered were very good — chicken marsala, the special penne with broccoli and sausage. Will have to come here again when I visit my sister in Orlando again.
