Really great time rafting! Our guide Joshua Hernandez kept the ride fun and moving. We all went for unplanned swims at one point or another, but we all made it back to the boat in one piece. Lunch was surprisingly good as well. Sandwiches, fruit, shrimp and cookies. We did the full river, and although we’re super sore and exhausted, it was totally worth it.

These guys really know how to take care of their customers. I was lucky to have Lance as my guide and not only was he very knowledgeable but also so much fun. The whole ride was a blast. I have rafted several times all over the US; the Occoee 4 times.
Rafting trips are all about the guide. Good guide who knows the river and seems to really be enjoying what he a or she is doing = great trip. Insufferable douchebag who is merely going through the motions = bad trip.
Went down the Occoee with a group of guys as a way to start a bachelors’ weekend. Cherokee Rafting had a time that suited us, so we booked with them.
Our guy, Tyler, was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. We were treated like family and Tyler was made the trip the best yet. Highly recommended.

Cherokee was one of a few rafting companies I was looking at to take my small (6 people) and large group (55 people) events down the Ocoee River. I’m glad I connected with Cherokee!
Blake and all of the guides were super professional. They took care of our large groups just as well as our small groups. All of our folks had a wonderful time!
I’ve been back to their company over 6 times. The next time I go down the Ocoee, it will be with Cherokee. Their full river tour was really fun and the lunch was filling. It gave us the calories we needed to conquer the next leg of the Ocoee!
