seems they can get you the car you are looking for, if you offer them enough profit, which is unclear. at the beginning filled a form on their web site about the car i was looking for. no answer. after a few days, i called. they forwarded me to doug b– who seemed half interested and in a hurry. i told him what i was looking for. he asked what my maximum price was– i told him, and that i hoped not to reach that high. after, he made no effort to explain pricing, that maybe some vehicles were less? he sent me photos of cars that were older than i asked and said«clean carfax» without sending the actual carfax or anything relevant. he said things about obtaining the car that never happened(i waited and made financial decisions based on what he said). he makes no effort to report when he decides not to follow through on what he has said. he slipped in cars that were higher priced according to him by $ 1000 at a time, which he only informed me of after i said i wanted to go through with buying it(at the price he had agreed to stay under). on the positive side, i asked him for a reference. he gave me name of loan officer at a credit union who said they worked with his company for years and had a very good experience.

I pretty much had the same experience as the other Unilocaler. Great all the way around. I was looking for a 2005 – 2007 Nissan Titan with a budget of 12k.(I knew I couldn’t afford anything 2008 and newer). Even though gas was expensive, these trucks were hard to come by. I told the guy(Jim) what I was looking for, and he told me he’d look around and get back to me. He told me they had a few at the auction, so he took me to the car auction, we looked around– NOPRESSURE!!! I saw some titans but none that I really Loved-and he was cool with that! Even told me that one Titan was a good deal, but wouldn’t be good for me because it required some extra work. We did this a few times, and I still wasn’t able to find that perfect truck, I admit-I was kind of picky. I started to call Nissan Dealerships and have them add me to a list if they got any titans that fit my requirements.(I went to a Nissan dealership after they had one that fit my requirments-only to see that it didn’t, so they tried to sell me a murano instead.(wtf??)) Anyway, about a month after going to the auction a few times and some emails back and forth(he was very good at keeping in contact with me) he told me he found a nice titan in Jacksonville and was having it driven down for me to see it. I was like. what? What if i dont like it? And when I went to go see it-it was PERFECT. It even had some aftermarket stuff on it that I wanted to add onto my future truck anyway(dual exhaust, tint, wheels). It was a 2008 and in my budget, very low miles and was great. He told him I wanted it, he told me to drive it around for a few days, to make sure it was REALLY what I wanted(Come on! How awesome?) So I had it for two days drove it around, then called him that I wanted it for sure-he came to my work, signed the paperwork-took like 10 minutes and was given the title and temp tag and all smiles! A few weeks later-Nissan called me with almost the same truck(same year, model, different color, more miles, no tint-all stock, ect) and were asking 5,300MORE than what I got it for. So I got a GREAT price on it. These guys are great! Highly Recommend. Note: They only work with Credit Union Members, so you have to me a member for them, but it’s 1000000000% worth it!!!

I dread going to the dealership to purchase a car. It’s not only the fact that I’m a girl and that means they will try to sell me a Pinto with a purchase price equal to my mortgage, it is also the time involved with negotiating a deal. I’ve been held hostage practically all day before, forced to lunch on slim jims and peanuts from the vending machine. Enter Auto Wholesale Direct — an option sponsored by my credit union. All you have to know is 1) what type of car you want and 2) how much you are willing to pay. Yep, that’s it. I had an idea of what I wanted, secured financing from my credit union, and called Jody at Auto Wholesale Direct. The accountant in me frowns upon buying new(depreciation is a killer the first 2 yrs of a car’s life), so I was looking for a late model«preowned» car. They can also locate new cars, but I can’t speak as to whether or not the value is the same. Jody met me at an auction lot and advised I select two or three cars. Jody had never met me so I had to explain that I like what I like and I usually want that, so it would probably be one or nothing. True to form, there was just one car for me. We settled on my acceptable price and Jody bid for me the next day. He was able to get the car I wanted, so we had a deal! We met at my credit union the next morning, I signed the note, gave my trade-in to Jody and took possession of my new ride. In total, the whole experience took me about two and a half hours(including driving time to the auction lot). I have to also give a shout out to my credit union, Fairwinds. They had a part in saving me time and aggravation. I was able to finance primarily online, just needed to be present to sign some papers and of course, get my new baby, Polly.
