I left a full review on her Facebook and her webpage. Know why? Because she’s awesome and I highly recommend her to anyone searching for a kind, knowledgable, experienced, and personal doula. She was funny when I needed funny, peaceful when transition hit and I got scared, and encouraging when pushing. She was great with my husband and made everything easier all around. And this was just when she was the student doula. I can’t wait to have her at my next birth.

I had the pleasure of witnessing Cassandra in action at a birth recently. I was the birth photographer for one of her birth doula clients so it was a real treat to attend a birth together. She nurtured this laboring mama in such a beautiful and natural way as well as the birthing woman’s relatives. The laboring mama was the wife of a deployed serviceman so the situation called for lots of extra TLC. Having many years of doula experience myself, I was really inspired by Cassandra’s ability to step into the supportive position in the way that she did over and over again. Even though the labor was long (for everyone!), Cassandra kept smiling and was so lovingly positive! She is the kind of person that has the energy you just enjoy being around.
I’ve heard nothing but great reports from all of the mamas that have chosen Cassandra as their doula. Her unconditional, non judgmental support is so appreciated and valued! Her expertise before during and after a birth is invaluable. What a gem she is to the San Diego birth community!
