I really like this place. I’ve been here a few times and went again early this morning. Breakfast foods and all drinks are super yummy and SUPER affordable which is awesome. Very casual laid back Oceanside village vibe, I’m all about it. Service is very fast and it’s always busy there! Only downside is the menu was hard to read… a little small. But who really cares about that haha this place is great. Check it out!

I’ve been coming here for nearly eight years. The coffee and teas are great. Their cones are awesome (better than Dairy Queen, IMHO). Sandwiches are good. I always come in for a breakfast sandwich on the weekend. The staff is super chill, especially Anna. SHE ROCKS MY WORLD! Oh, Anna, when will you marry me?! Pier View is a great place to people watch with window seating, and seating outside. Pier View is within walking distance of the Oceanside Pier. I suggest grabbing a coffee and walking down to the pier. This is one of Oceanside’s best spots.

1^st time here… they were able to make a Blended drink with CREME BRULEE flavor…
and it was AMAZING!

Stopped in here to meet a friend for breakfast. I simply had a juice but my friend ordered an egg sandwich — it was yummy — but nothing spectacular or extraordinary.
Unfortunately, for them right now there is massive construction on the adjacent corner and it is loud. I totally didn’t use that against them of course.
The place was clean, staff was fairly friendly. I will stop in another time when I am in Oceanside!

A girlfriend and I recently started coming here on our days off on Mondays. The line can get long but the girls behind the counter are always friendly and quick! Coffee is always on point. And you can’t beat a free bagel with your coffee purchase on a Monday.

The cashiers act like they resent every order they take, baristas are slow. Drinks are tasty though.

Pier View is where I like to go to lounge because it’s roomie and casual. The only time it is overly crowded is on Thursday nights when the Sunset farmer’s market is going on. The prices are good and the coffee and food are even better.
If you need a caffeine fix and coffee just isn’t your thing, don’t worry Pier View has a great selection of tea.
When you visit, don’t forget to bring a book. It’s a great place to read and relax a little, but also the shop has a book exchange — bring a book leave a book. It’s a nice way to recirculate books you’ve already read and maybe find a new gem of an author that you didn’t know about

Great spot for grabbing s coffee, breakfast sandwich or bagel on the go! I think Monday is free bagel day !! You might want to grab a spot outside early but with the intention of probably moving though because so many smokers sit there … It’s horrible to even have to walk through to get your coffee when it’s ready, let alone sit out there ! We usually get our stuff and go. I imagine we would have more than 1 coffee or food item if we stick around but we hate the smoke. Smokers practically block the darn door. The service inside and the food/​coffee are excellent though so we keep going back. We just prepare ourselves !!

Love the location, just a block from the Oceanside pier. I work near by so stop in for coffee pretty often. They have a rewards program so every 10^th coffee, I think, is free. They always remember me & often have my decaf coffee waiting for me by the time I get to the front of the line. The staff is great, friendly & hard working. I’ve eaten there a few times also & enjoyed my meals. Great spot!

Good, whole fruit smoothies with outdoor seating, coffee, and a simple menu. Good stuff.

Busy place morning, noon & night. Coffee, bagels, sandwiches & homemade Gelato — yum!

Always friendly and fast. My go to coffee place when I’m working. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches are pretty good.

I need to preface my review with this: I’m not a hoity-​toity or germaphobe. I’m perfectly fine with casual, laid back and less than pristine establishments BUT I honestly don’t remember the last time I went somewhere this dirty :(
It’s SO dirty. Like FILTHY. I wish I would have taken pictures of the place.
And the thing I was there at about 9am so it’s not like there had been several hours of customer traffic through there. Walls, floors, and all surfaces are dirty, grimy, yuck! Years of dirty.
Bathroom? Don’t!
Also: The employees who were working there (last Wednesday morning) don’t seem to be morning people. No smile, dismissive attitude … seemed to have been bothering them by wanting to order something. :(
I stayed because I had driven a long way to meet a friend there. Otherwise I would have left.
The good thing? The coffee. The sausage and cheese croissant.

Neat little within walking distance from the Oceanside pier. The friendly staff offers up a smile, drinks and foods.
Their coffee is good. The outdoor seating area hosts an eclectic set of colorful chairs. This place seems to be popular, while I was siting here sipping my latte, the line was out the door.
I got the impression that this was also a neighborhood coffee spot, since some of the people who were in the café were greeting each other by name and getting gossip from each other.
The Pier View Coffee company, offers smoothies, pastries and sandwich options. Pricing is fair.
Parking is in the area. Their bathrooms– eh are okay.

Friendly staff, decent chairs/​tables to sit outside and good coffee! I had a blended chai drink and my friend had an espresso drink. The snacks/​food looked good, but I am not a fan of ciabatta, so I didn’t try anything. Cute little place.

Two simple yet important words… FOOD POISON… Me and a female friend stopped by on our evening walk simply because the had a comfortable looking atmosphere. We ordered the BBQ chicken breast sandwiches and they were good as we left we decided it was a good joint. We were wrong… on the way home I had to pull over twice for the girl to vomit on the side of the road. about an hour after I got home it hit me, I puked for 20 min and stayed up all night feeling horrible, I’ve had diarrhea all morning and cannot hold down food. I called my primary care doctor and told him what was going on he suggested «it was food poisoning and because of the quick onset it was probably staphylococcal food poisoning usually caused by employees with unsafe hygiene practices and not washing their hands and if it didn’t subside in 2 – 3 days to come in for an examination» needless to say I will not be returning and I urge others to exercise caution!

Just a great all around locals coffee shop, close to the house and the water. Were all about supporting small local businesses being one myself, AND Free Ice Cream Cones on Xmas, can’t beat that. Thank You Pier View Coffee, the girls LOVE them!

I love Pier View Coffee Co for their fast and friendly service! I LOVE their breakfast sandwiches! Your choice of bread and meat makes it perfect every time! They have a beautiful display case filled with all kinds of breakfast goodies and lunch options. Not to mention a huge selection of delicious coffees and teas. Ice cream and smoothies too!

Nothing extraordinary. It’s simply a quaint coffee shop close to the Oceanside pier.
Gelato was decent and their choices of caffeinated drinks seemed plenty. Service was a-​okay, and place looked a bit run down.
Ultimately, it served my friends and I as a rain shelter as we were caught by surprise with a mid-​summer thunderstorm. Unfortunately, I think that’s the most value I got out of the shop…

What a great spot to grab a cup of joe. Very close to the beach/​pier, and front row seats during the Sunset Market! They have sidewalk seating, cool place do your people watching and have the ocean air or at times, an ocean breeze in your face. I do have to warn you about the occasional, loud horns from the passing trains. Yes, unfortunately the train tracks is near too, but the horn warning is short, and once again you will be able to enjoy your cup of joe.
The inside is quite warm, so during the summer it can be quite stuffy. I have gone in a few times and never found the AC to be on. Although, during the winter the warmth is welcoming.
I haven’t had the chance to grab a bite here, but I do enjoy a cup of hot or blended chai tea drink.
So stop by and give the place a try, then stroll the beach afterwards. Enjoy!
