Warning run forest run!!! The experience of dining here can only be related to taking a long walk off a short pier !! By the end of the meal and on my drive home as i stopped for the relief that can only be found in Alka seltzer with a side of Tums. I realized that eating here was equivalent to enjoying an evening of self mutilation!!! I should have known better when I opened the door and the place was empty on a sat except a few hard core bar patrons nursing cheep beer. My lovely date ordered the mussels in garlic sauce for an app which was Served with so much butter sauce and garlic it makes Paula Deans cooking fit for a cardiac ward !! I’m still burping up its nasty reminders this morning. I made the fatal error of ordering the fried calamari, it was freezer fresh no doubt, just can decide if it was The Gorton fishermen or Mrs Paul’s? Regardless it had that defrosted in a microwave and slapped into a deep fryer taste served with a side of tarter sauce? Wtf that’s a first? The main course we ordered a round of burgers which took forever to arrive and we requested medium cooked and arrived screaming moo moo. There is one good thing this experience has turned me holy it’s early Sunday morning and as I sit on my throne, my hands clutched to walls for support I’ve been screaming oh god please you have to help. The waitress/bartender was nice

So I decided to give this place a try and was pleasantly surprised at how well the Monte Cristo was… the meat was nice and tender with just a touch of mustard on nicely egg dipped toast and the fries were crisp and hot just the way sweet potato fries ought to be. I will definitely be going back for lunch/dinner with friends in the near future.

Just terrible. Horrible vibe and food wasn’t great. I decided to try it out because Unilocal had a deal $ 40 for $ 50 so why not. The bartender didn’t even know how to use my Unilocal deal and I had to wait an extra 20 minutes after dying to leave. I would not recommend to anyone lol.

I went with my wife to Phat Daddys today for lunch. We ordered a burger a corned beef quesedilla and soda. The soda was flat but was replaced. We waited about 20 minutes for the lunches in an empty restaurant which was unacceptable. The corned beef dish was ok but the burger tasted funny and had to be returned. This ISNOT the quality of the Phat Daddy I reviewed a while ago. The price to value ratio was bout average for this type of restaurant. Unfortunately this is no longer what it was in the past and I believe I will not be returning in the future.

Yikes, what a disappointment. We’ve patronized the previous establishments; The Tucker Inn and Tra Fa Da. Phat Daddy’s is much cleaner, brighter and more inviting. The waitress/bartender was very friendly courteous. With a Living Social coupon we decided to give Phat Daddy’s a try. However we were met with disappointment when two of the three times we wanted were not available. The fried ravioli appetizer was crispy and served with tomato sauce. An nice variation. My girlfriend ordered the pulled pork tacos, which were misnamed as they had such little pulled pork in them that they should have been called pulled pork flavoring. Excessive lettuce and tomatoes buried any evidence of pulled pork. Really! My fish & chips were right out of the freezer. Triangular pieces of frozen prepared fish.(«Mrs. Paul’s ?») I’m sorry, but there is no excuse to serve anything but fresh fish on Long Island. We really want this place to succeed, because of our history with this location. The glowing newspaper reviews are misleading. I’m sorry, but we are ‘one and done’ and wish Phat Daddy’s better luck.
