MLK Skate Park

Bowls, Bowls, Bowls. Time this place right for the age group. Think of when who gets off. This place always has people but everyone takes turns like they should. You can definitely see some Pro’s here if you pick the day right. People skate, bike, scooter and roller blade these bowls. This doesn’t have a separate area for beginners but there is one part of the bowl thats only a couple feet down from the edge with a more gradual slope. You can also pop from one bowl into the next. I would give another star if this was a little bigger and had some rails. I also would give another star if people quit leaving their trash around. All in all MLK park is big. There’s a in-​line skate hockey arena. A couple huge fields. Tennis courts. And a rubber ground playground area. Plus pavilions and rest rooms. I believe I saw some basketball hoops but that could be part of the middle schools.
