We had Kevin complete the finishing work on our new craftsman-​style staircase in our home in Carlsbad and could not be happier with the results! He works closely with Kelly from K Pinson Stairs and the work Kevin did on our quarter sawn white oak staircase is truly a masterpiece! From initial masking of the work area to final cleanup, he was professional, courteous, clean and a friendly guy to talk to. He also gave us many tips on how to best maintain the finish in the years to come. He blended the stain himself to match the existing woodwork in our home and his finishing work breathes life into the wood. Kevin is a true craftsman and we highly recommend him to anyone looking for that true hand-​made character in their wood furnishings.

Kevin did our stairs and the result was beautiful. He kept our house clean throughout and was always polite and helpful. He has many years of experience and it really shows. He is just the nicest man and a true craftsman. We want to have him build a couple of custom furniture pieces in the future.

This was a truly fine experience — with a master craftsman. Kevin came to our house three days earlier than originally promised to do the work. He proceeded to set up a dust-​free shop in our garage, and turned a well-​worn secretary desk which had been in our family for many years — into a family treasure that will certainly be proudly displayed for many more years.
I had some interest in restoring a small piece myself, and Kevin explained each step as he did it. He encouraged me to pursue my woodworking interest and described the great pleasure he derived from his many decades of fine woodworking. Some days later, Kevin stopped back by our house to view the self-​completed small piece that I had been encouraged to do. What a Prince of a Guy!
