Best pizza in the area! I ordered 6 regular pies for delivery at 8pm on Friday evening. They arrived at 8:20pm hot and delicious. Sure they may have been a little late but food this good is worth the wait!

We had delivered a pizza [half onion, half mushroom], sausage calzone and regular side salad. The pizza crust was thin and crisp, just the way my wife loves it. Plenty of sauce and cheese. The onions were sweet and the mushrooms were plentiful — overall a superior pie. The calzone crust was crisp; the cheeses were tasty; ample sausage; I really enjoyed it. The salad dressing had diced onions — unique and flavorful.

Wanted to give a nice review to the Monday-Thursday, day time guys who work at Gigante’s. That’s the only time I go. I work in the area and since my father is now considered a «senior citizen», we go there just about every Tuesday to have lunch. My apologies for not knowing their names, but they are all very nice. The guys who takes my order always remember what I am getting and has my order ready to go. The guy who is throwing the pizza also remembers me and always greets me with a smile or hello and I usually follow up with him to tell him his«pizza is right on point»…lol! Since it is usually the business that only gets the credit, I figured I’d like to do a shout out to the guys that make it run day in and day out. Thanks guys!

Usually my go to place, won’t go again. Ordered pizza, chicken rolls and two slices. Food came terrible, sauce cup was on top of slice, pizza was slopped all over box was dented and it took over an hour to get here. Sad like I said was my go to place no more.

Hit or miss at this place. Seem to always be short handed, counter girls care more about their phones then customers. Ask for slice hot or it comes out cold

One of my favorite places to get pizza as well as main courses. The selection of pizza is far and beyond. So many different choices of slices. The establishment is always clean. The service is on point. I really enjoyed the buffalo slice and the eggplant slice. I would recommend trying different slices every time you go back. Which you should after just going once. Parking is great and easy. Keep up the good work Gigante’s Pizza!

Gigante’s has been here as long as I can remember– way back to when Top Rollers was around(anyone remember Top Rollers??). They have the best regular pizza in the area– just my opinion of course! The crust is always crisp– all the way to the point of the slice… I don’t know how they get it so crispy?! The sauce is really good, and they put just the right amount of cheese to about an inch from the edge of the pie, so you aren’t left with a big sauceless, cheese less crust at the end. I’ve tried other slices and especially liked the spinach one, but the regular is my default here. Plenty of parking, reasonable prices and nice servers.

Lots of special slices, but the only one I go for is the Grandpa Slice — it’s a Grandma slice made with vodka sauce. It actually may be the best slice of pizza around.

We had Gigantes cater a party we had and the spread was spectacular! This is our first time at the restaurant and we are just as pleased as we were with the party. Everything was delicious and the service was great. It’s located in a shopping center so if your out doing Christmas shopping, stop in for lunch to keep you going!

Their baked ziti slice is perfection! It’s huge and very filling! This place is pricy soit’s not where I’d go for a plain slice. But there’s plenty of seating and service is good. Good location for business.

Possibly the best plain slice of pizza around! And if you’ve got the plain slice down to perfection — meaning the perfect combination of cheese, sauce and crust — then the rest of the menu is looking pretty tasty. I heard one women ordering a margarita slice and another ordering something with peppers and cherry tomatoes… I had no room after my two slices of plain, but I’ll be back soon to try the rest! The restaurant is super clean and probably under appreciated because it’s in the Marchall’s/Kohls shopping area. If they were in a more prominent spot, I’m sure each table would be filled. It’s nicely decorated so you’ll enjoy your pizza dining in. They deliver too! This pizza place definitely outshines Pizziola, Gino’s & DaVinci’s in taste!

I had the lobster ravioli the other night. The worst I ever had. I threw out most of it. The sauce was separated and it was full of oil and the ravioli was mushy. It was almost as if they nuked it. The veal cutlet parm hero was dry and tough. Their pizza is good but with all the choices of pizzeria’s around, I will not be going back there anytime soon

Good pies, with well-done crusts and a very nice sauce which doesn’t leave anything out even for a regular cheese pie. Convenient place to where I live, but not a place I’d go out of my way to visit. Beware that there is very little space to wait if you happen to decide to order a spur-of-the-moment pie, so content yourself with shopping nearby in the interim.

Nothing special. And at this point that’s how I have to judge pizza joints these days. I had their«famous» Grandma Slice and it was ok. I did enjoy the eggplant roll. but who doesn’t…that Shiz is legit. Fried eggplant, ricotta, and a little bit of sauce. Here’s the main problem… my meal was $ 9.80…yoooo too much.

On a whim got a pie with eggplant… Oh My God! So F’in good. Some of the best moist, tasty eggplant slices I have ever had. Was sad at the end of each slice… that it ended!

Lots of selection, good food, but they skimp out on the ingredients :( Best on LI? Don’t believe the hype, but good enough

The only thing that Gigante is doing right, is having a location in a huge strip mall in Oceanside. The mall has Marshalls, Waldbaums, Kohl’s, Michael’s, Staples, Bed Bath and Beyond, Game Stop, and a few other small shops, so after dragging my kids through a few stores, they were too hungry to drive to their favorite pizzeria, which was only 2 minutes away, Gigante it was. Literally, nothing special and for 3 bucks a slice, when everyone around charges 2 – 2.25, I would have expected something much, much better. The kids have agreed-we would have been better off waiting and driving to their favorite place.

Classic NY style pizza, crisp thin crust with good flavor. Nothing too special inside, but they do a good job with the pizza. Also they have been in the same location for at least 15 years so they are doing something right.
