You have to consider a lot of things before you can judge a place. My husband and I moved to a 1 bedroom unit that is 820 square feet for $ 1225. Considering the access to the 78, Walmart, MiraCosta, Costco and the mall. This place is decent. The manager Shannon accommodated every single one of our needs. I’m the type of person that is fair. If the complex is flexible(ex. changes your move in date) they should be flexible with you too. We moved in a few days late because there were some complications, but Shannon accommodated us the way tenants should be accommodated. She is the type of person you would want to say hi to whenever you passed by. This apartment complex is family owned, so I find this place very old fashioned. They do not have AC but they have plenty of plants, trees and wind to keep you cool. The complex pays for your water. All you need to worry about is Gas and Electric(and of course internet and cable). The only downside is that they don’t have washer and dryers in the apartment, although what can you expect, they pay for your water so they do have a designated laundry area. That seems pretty fair to me. I am a studious college student and my husband works in the military. We don’t party nor are we loud. Occasionally, you can hear couples arguing, but that isn’t the apartment complex’s fault. It’s the people’s fault. If you want your own privacy, close your windows. Am I correct? The lady that lives beneath us has been living there for more than 10 years. That’s a sign that this place sure has people who are serious about living in a decent place. The complex itself is pretty old, but I think they make up for it in the rent and living space. My husband and I used to live in the Missions at Rancho del Oro. It’s a «pretty» place but way overpriced. We paid 1510+(water, trash, pet rent etc included) for 1-bedroom that’s 620 square feet and I heard their prices were about to raise to. Sure they have AC and washer and Dryer, but that’s ok. I sure do LOVE the space I have here at Forest Glen.
