On a weekend trip to Oceanside! Stopped by for an evening bottle of wine. Service was seriously 5 starts. Our bartender(Carrie) was incredible! Such a sweet lady and her menu knowledge was great. We also had a tiramisu which was incredible and very homemade. You can taste all the incredible flavores. The only reason this review is four stars instead of 5, would be that the bathroom door didn’t have a handle to enter. I’m sure it’s just broken, but it threw me off. Next time we are in Oceanside we will definitely be back!

Service was excellent and so was the food. Would definitely come back for more. The menu is robust and took some time to digest, but we eventually settled on the lobster ravioli and a Greek salad. The lobster rav was amazing. The tomato cream sauce was really good and paired well with our wine. We sat outside which I was nervous about due to the cold weather but there are heaters and it was not bad at all. Overall great place.

Oh, my, we struck Gold! Sooooo delicious and such great service! We had the ‘Cozze Saltate’ which is the blue mussels Italian style. It was outstanding! The fresh bread sticks served hot are just the best! Rose was our server and she recommended an appetizer called«Crostacei Luciano» and it was superb! We tried a couple of the craft beers, of which there are many, and found the Barrel Harbor IPA @ ABV8.9 perfect! We finished with the local Prohibition Wheat Hopened @ ABV of 10. Fantastic experience made perfect with the harbor and dog-friendly outdoor seating. Just beautiful: food, service, Rose(our server), and all!!!

Price $$ Quality: 4 star Service: 5 star Value: 4 star Portions: average Part of Dominic’s Italian Restaurant, same menu, seating is in the room next door where there is a bar, bistro tables and dessert counter. The bar side is a bit more contemporary vs. the restaurant side which is more traditional Italian. They have a huge menu for a small establishment. Always difficult to figure out what to try. The bbq chicken pizza, eggplant entrees and seafood pasta are delish. Their gelato was good but not the best. Service was excellent. The harbor is great for walks after a big meal. You’ll run into a good mix of tourists and locals.

What a fun place on the Harbor!!! They have amazing happy hour specials and their food is AMAZING! They really know how to do Italian right in SoCal!!! The service is great! I sat at the bar and all of my needs were taken care of(some without me even asking!). This place is a MUST Visit!!!

Hanging out with the GF and she wanted wine and I wanted pizza. We ended up doing the beer tasting, he pizza D special, and the cheese sticks. CANTWAITTOCOMEBACK. Service was great. Coming back. Oceanside ale works blonde was my favorite. Service could be slow because of staffing but I feel they handled it and we weren’t in any type of rush so a little wait was appreciated so I could enjoy my beer.

Very enjoyable atmosphere and great view of the Oceanside harbor. You can get all the food of Dominic’s(which is great) and enjoy a great selection of wines and craft beers. Happy hour makes it down right affordable and the staff is friendly and prompt!

This place really is great! Such a cute spot to come grab a glass of wine and an app while looking out onto the harbor. The usually have about 12 different craft beers that they are pouring and a great wine selection. I love the Caprese appetizer and the fried ravioli! Everything always tastes super homemade. the ONLY criticism I have is that, I love to sit at the bar cause the view is so gorgeous, but every time that I have gone now, they have little gnats flying around the bar. I know the doors are usually open as there are so many people coming in and out… but still… It makes me not want to sit at the bar! Sad Face

Came here with a groupon. The waiter was actually really rude. No one was in the whole place and he ignored us and took about 45 min to get our bill. I will never come back here again for the fact. The food was decent and the location is great but I cannot go somewhere with such horrible service.

Usually come here for cannoli’s and cappucino. Good cannoli’s but the cappucino was all milk with a splash of espresso. $ 4 for a terrible cappuccino… disappointed to say the least. I recommend the cannoli’s coffee not so much.

The wine selection is pretty sub standard and the female bartender that served us was pretty rude. Saving grace is the beautiful view of the boats in the harbor.

We order two gelatos and our waiter forgot about it. Wasn’t a big deal as we were going to order it again before we left. Our friends showed up and ordered the same gelato, making the waitress realize that she forgot us. Long story short, all of us got the gelato for free. No complaints or anything. Appreciate service that knows how to fix their wrongs without influence

Absolutely Awful! This wine bar is connected to Dominic’s Italian Restaurant. Do NOT waste your time or money. I can’t remember the last time I had an experience this bad at a restaurant. I used to be a server, my husband used to work in a kitchen, I feel we are reasonable critics. The Service: horrible. I really don’t know if I can describe how clueless and unprofessional the staff are. We called for a reservation and the woman made my husband repeat the request several times…4 people at 7 pm. We got there a little late(got lost — the combo of Unilocal address and our phone’s map took us to the police station) and the place was almost empty(guess reservations weren’t needed). We sat down and a very unprofessional young kid finally came over to take our drink order. He was snippy and rude. To save space and to keep this review short I’ll highlight the exceptionally bad parts: *he put in our order(we watched him) he did it wrong and then yelled at his coworkers about using the computer wrong *he doesn’t know the menu at all — had clue what burrata was(one of their specials for the day) *he was sarcastic to us *my husband asked for a class of cab sav… the guy came back and told us they were out of sav blanc(dude, you work in a wine bar, at least learn your wine). *the woman(equally clueless) took our order, well she tried, got overwhelmed, and had to go get a piece of paper(there were 4 of us). Then she gave the scribbles to our waiter and we watched him to enter in the computer(this was about 10 min after we gave her our order and he had to get help to enter it), when the runners brought the food out they were all fighting about where it was supposed to go – he entered it wrong again. Mind you this wine bar is one room. There were 3 other tables taken. We were sitting in the middle of the room, 5 feet from where they were fighting. We finally had to say it’s ours! *the clueless woman took waters to another table. She did this by sticking her fingers down into the four empty glasses to carry them to the table, then came back to get the water jug. Gross. I don’t want your fingers in my cup. I hope the entire staff was high, that would be the only way I could understand their behavior. The Food: Um, the best part of our meal was the free breadsticks if that says anything. I had wedding soup, my husband got the special — Shrimp filled ravioli with a garlic, crab and shallot tomato cream sauce, my brother-in-law got the margarita pizza and his girlfriend got some mushroom and cream pasta. My soup was bland, the pizza looked a little soggy(the tomatoes were diced and large — if you’re going to bake pizza with tomatoes they must be thin or else it gets soggy!), and the mushroom dish looked and tasted like something you could heat up from the freezer. Now to my husband’s dish. The daily special. It was most definitely frozen and pre-prepared(if not, i feel bad for that chef). The shrimp in the ravioli were those little tiny shrimp you sometimes see in mexican-style shrimp cocktail. Not what we expected. The ‘cream’ sauce was just the tomato sauce they serve with the breadsticks. We complained about this and one of the waiters had the nerve to tell us that we were mistaken and this was the correct sauce. We persisted and he went to ask the chef. He came back and still claimed it was the correct sauce, but they forgot the crab. I call BS. I’m adding a picture — you decide. Is the sauce pictured garlic, shallot and crab in tomato cream? The answer is no, it is not. The only hint of pink color(telltale sign cream has been added to tomato is from the cheese spilling from the inside of the shrimp ravioli). We demanded they take it off the bill, to their credit they did. I’m upset that we wasted our money on their crappy food and horrible service. ALL of the workers in the bar area should be fired. I don’t understand how this place is still in business, I am also baffled by the good reviews it received on Unilocal

Very cute place. Definitely stop by for dessert and a glass of good wine. Service was excellent and prices are quite reasonable. It’s kinda stored away in the corner so its really quiet. If you are on the pier and a wine lover, do stop by.

It was Sunday evening and the place was light to moderately busy. I was expecting a hole in the wall but it is a large café that has outdoor dining. We sat at the bar and had a pleasant view of the harbor — the music helped create an intimate atmosphere. Our bartender Pam was knowledgeable and helpful in our wine selections. We had a Groupon and this was one of the best experiences using one. Finally, an establishment that realizes if they offer a first class experience people wil return. The prices ere very reasonable and I can’t wait to return with friends

Cute but small, well cozy, wine bar. a minus… a freezer full of fresh gelato as you enter… a plus. This place has both wine and beer flights served by a knowledgeable waiter. Nice ambience for date night and the wine bar is connected to a superb Italian restaurant so the bard fare is quite good. We had a combo appetizer plate full of bruschetta, calamari, mozzarella. The bistro fare has delicious a d fresh salads as well.

I purchased a Groupon used it on 3÷9÷13. On one of the wine flights they were out of the listed wine?(Really) and substituting a cabernet for an Italian varietal. When the wine was served our food came out in installments, so I felt the service was mediocre at best. Server wasn’t aware of the Groupon deal and I had to argue to get the correct items. When the food finally arrived, the dipping sauce was so hot that it burnt my date’s tongue. She literally had blisters for two days. We talked to manager or owner and he held the sauce and agreed that the sauce was extremely hot and would tell his kitchen. I know I had a groupon and all, but when you burn a customer’s tongue at a wine tasting bar, shouldn’t you try and make it right? No attempt to do so. Would not recommend this place.

One huge negative that I have found since we dined at D’Vino’s. They charged our credit card for a larger amount than the total of the bill, then charged the correct amount. I am still waiting for my credit card to be credited the wrong amount, which means I paid triple for our meal so far. I know it will get credited back, but what a hassle!!! Makes me a little sorry that I gave raving reviews. Hopefully it was just an honest mistake & not their common practice.

I will start with the bad and get that out of the way because there is more good than bad to discuss. Bad: The place is very small. I recommend you take a friend or your significant other, but not both at the same time. Good: Wine & Food. It’s a fun little wine bar with a good selection of wine. The food was fantastic. We had the nachos(if you like spicy I recommend telling them to throw some peppers on top) and pizza to start. The pizza was excellent. We completed the meal portion with a filet mignon that we shared. The steak was perfectly cooked and the server was great about bringing an extra plate. Cheesecake to finish– yummy! In my opinion this is the best place to go in the harbor.

Eh, it was ok. It seemed that the employees working were stressed out and not in the best moods even though it was really slow when when we got there. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks. The service was slow so we only stayed for one drink and left, probably wont be back.
