I don’t know what took me so long to write a review about this place other than the fact that maybe it was such a HORRIBLE experience that I erased it from my mind when it was over. That sentence sums it up as I recommend that anyone should avoid this location — drive the extra miles to save yourself from obscenely horrible customer service(at one point I thought there must be hidden camera and this was a prank) and the highest level of frustration. Long story short, I dropped my phone and it got run over — I know I could have filed a claim online but when you use your phone you want instant results and somehow you think that the store can help you out. How I wish I had driven to my favorite store in Merrick. I came in here in a bit of a panic with my crushed phone. I was serviced by a girl with curly blond hair who upon looking at my crushed phone advised that I should buy a screen protector to «stick the screen together» and make it usable for a little while until I got a new phone. She charged me $ 40 to tell me in about 3 seconds that nope, it didn’t work and that happens sometimes… and no, I dont get a refund because it was my choice to buy it. Then she proceeded to stand there and push otter boxes on me while I politely said no thank you… i had to practically scream that my phone HASALREADYBEENRUNOVER, please help me file a claim. Then the girl proceeded to try and log me into the at&t website that I could have done myself… and when I asked she told me to just log in and type my information in there… I repeatedly said that I didn’t know my passcode… so she had me keep trying until the system logged me out. Then she had no idea what to do and had me call ATT customer service. There were a host of other issues like the fact that she had no idea what she was doing and couldn’t even print a page… was highly unprofessional in giving me the phone to stay on hold because she didn’t want to hold it. At about an hour and a half into this episode, her coworker realized there must have been an issue and fixed my problem in about 15 minutes. She stood there as if she felt she did a good job. Wow. If wrecking my phone wasn’t bad enough, this girl made it a million times worse. RUNAWAYFROMTHISSTORE! 0 Stars! (PS — filing a claim with ATT online or on the phone is so much easier… it’s just that I didn’t have a landline…)
