Great little shop! Went in for YuGiOh cards, came out with a lot of cards and a gameplay mat. The owner, Chuck, even threw in a couple gameboards for free. Pricing is very reasonable, ranging from common up to rare pricing on cards. Also has Pokemon and Magic cards, and sports paraphernalia. We will definitely be coming back in.

Ardillos is a awesome friendly place that has pretty much everything you could ask for! The only way it could be better if it was open longer on the weekends

Generous card guy here. I bought a Black Friday box of spectra football cards, went back on Black Friday and like he Promised he comped me free Black Friday packs. It was really a nice gesture because I’m sure some store owners try to turn those into profit instead of give them away as gifts. That’s an honest man! Cute little shop!

Awesome store!!! The guy working there(Chuck?) was a sweetheart. This is the only place I will bring my daughter for Pokemon cards from now on.

Ever since I was wee little one I’ve brought my card searching here. Chuck’s always got the best prices for retail card sales and it’s not super crowded due to its«hole-in-the-wall» status. If you’re a card game player, come here before you go buy cards anywhere else.

I met Chuck, the Owner today. He is such a nice man. Not once did I feel rushed or hurried to finish. I brought a whole bunch of sports memorabilia to Ardillo’s to get an idea of what they are worth. Chuck spent a good half hour with me and carefully looked through each item I had. His recommendations are appreciated and will be utilized. THANKYOUCHUCK for your time today! Nice, and Honest!

My grandparents own a house down on Pacific and it became our family«summer fun beach time vacation house» during my childhood. There wasn’t much to do other than hang out with your parents and go on the beach when you couldn’t drive, much less leave the immediate supervision of your parents. This place is directly off the freeway straight down Vista Way, and I would always see it when we went down to the beach. I love comic books and card games and begged my parents to take me there. Eventually they humored me and took me and I was amazed. It’s a very small place owned by the same guy who has been there for at least 15 years. I think it’s also his house. He always has tons of Magic cards and Sports cards, and I think recently he has removed the«Comic» aspect from the business, as the sign just says Ardillo’s Game/Sports Cards now. Very nice man and he had a sale this month on Magic starter decks for 5 bucks each, normally 10 to 12 at other places(even online.) I try to go here and buy stuff every time I’m down there for nostalgia’s sake and this recent visit I’m not disappointed. As far as I can tell, he’s the only one down there by a longshot in the game card business so he’s got the market cornered. Not a bad thing at all.
