Do not go to this location. My experience here was not good. I hate to have to write a review like this but maybe I can save someone trouble in the future. I went into tiki image and wanted to get a package before I went on vacation. I didn’t want anything that would take me into the summer months and explained that to the girl. She told me that there was a package I could pay monthly 3 times and then cancel at the end of my third billing period which would have taken me into may. Perfect! Well not so much. She never ever mentioned hat the first smooth I signed up for didn’t count as a biking month. I trusted what she said and in May came in to cancel. A girl then canceled my membership(which I barely used anyway) and said great I was done. Signed and left. A month later I was charged. I called up and I said I canceled his must be a mistake. No the file said they were wrong on their end and had to charge me one more time and that there was nothing they could do. I was basically SOL. I asked for the owner to call me back and a young girl called me and said he told me to tell you there’s nothing they can do. So don’t trust the people behind the counter! Poor poor management! Will never ever ever go here again. Do yourself a favor go anywhere else and never ever give them a credit card to keep on file. You’re basically screwing yourself.

I really wish I didn’t have to write this review, but the way I was treated by the ownership of this establishment was disgraceful… I enjoyed doing the body wraps, but the music is way too loud in the Ocean Location, not very relaxing. They were turning the music down for the first few weeks I was there, but eventually the owner came in and stopped them from accommodating me, again not very relaxing and rude. I should have stopped my membership right then and there, but since I enjoyed the wraps, I was flexible enough to switch locations in order to get a relaxing experience. The Wall location was much better, but they lost the remote to the Netflix and sitting in that wrap for an hour is like hell without Netflix to distract you. I was left with no choice but to use my own data on my phone for Netflix, which cost me about $ 15 each time I did so. I asked the girl at the front if she could get me a free tanning session due to the fact that I had to use my own data, she said no problem. The owner contacted me and told me that I was wrong for«demanding» a free tanning session. I never demanded anything. I asked, and the girl said no problem. I work in customer service. I would never dream of arguing with the customer. Apparently, the owner of Tiki Image, Chris, doesn’t feel the same way. He did not like that I was vocal about my unhappiness with the music in Ocean and the loss of the remote in Wall, so he called me and began to berate me. The way he runs his business is… this is my business, this is the way it is, and if you don’t like it, LEAVE! That is HORRENDOUS customer service. He made me feel like a child. I made about 20 appointments in the six weeks that I was a member and he complained about the three that I canceled. He continued with his rotten attitude, so I asked him for my money back for the unused portion of my membership. He said he would give me my money back, but that was three days ago, we’ll see. I have been going to Tiki Tan for 20 years. This is the worst owner yet.

The kids that work there are rude and immature. I signed up there because they have great hours and I work late. Every time I call to say I will be there about a half hour before they close, they tell me they are closing and give me an attitude. I’ve had to contact the manager several times. They turn the music off, lock the doors and start cleaning and huffing and puffing about 15 minutes prior to close. Very uncomfortable and awkward.
