Merendino Pizza & Restaurant

Ordered a pizza for delivery. The service was quick but the pizza was a disappointment. The crust was hard as a rock! Super chewy, tasted like it say out for a week and was reheated. Super salty too! Likely won’t order from here again, what a disappointment with all these good reviews up here

This place is great. Everything from the pizza to the soup to the service. Top notch all around!!!

Delivery was quick and they included coupons with the fliers in the mail which was nice. Pizza was excellent. Ceaser salad and wings also pretty good!

Love, love, love the antipasto pizza! If you haven’t tried you don’t know what you are missing! We also get a plain pie at least once a week :) cant go wrong with Merendino’s!

Oh … how I miss you. We will meet again someday. Since moving to Maine, we’ve pretty much given up on trying to find pizza that even comes close.
When it comes to pizza, this is the real deal. The Bruschetta Pizza is by far my favorite, also the Eggplant Rollettini. My husband loves your Ziti Pizza (it cracks us up here in Maine that no one has heard of Ziti Pizza). But getting the staple Margarita Pizza was great when we had guests so they could experience traditional pizza.
Zeppoli done right … in the paper bag with tons of sugar and oil. HHHMMMM. Want that now.
Lunch time is the absolute best with all those beautiful pizzas available to try.

The food is ok… If it wasn’t around the corner from me I would have probably given it a lower rating. It’s your typical pizzeria… What more can you expect? There pizza is decent and there chicken california has an imbalance of bread and veggies to meat ratio. There mini chicken parms though creative the sauce tastes questionable. I remember this place being alot better back when I was in highschool.

Great pizza by good people. What else do you need? Came in for lunch and had to order dinner while I was there.

Food is awesome and the size of their calzones/​strombolis can feed a family the service is always good and they are very friendly

Got a large calzone and man was this thing big. I can save it for dinner the rest of the week! We were there for lunch and the only customers in the restaurant on a Sunday so the service was great. Food came quickly. Nice spot for a great meal.

I wasn’t looking for the gastronomic event of my life. I wasn’t even looking for a foodie experience. I just wanted a quick Italian lunch and three Unilocal reviews suggested I might find it here.
I walked in and smiled because along the counter were arrayed several pizzas ready to be sold by the slice. There were also several other tasty treats.
I started to peruse the menu and at the same time the friendly guy behind the counter said he had mini-​boli, perfect for lunch, ready to go. One was stuffed with sausage and pepperoni and I said sold!
He poured me my requested fountain drink and charged me a whopping five bucks and change. I retired to my seat and two or three minutes later I had my aromatic boli in front of me. It was hot and tasty and a little bit spicy and exactly what I wanted. The accompanying dipping sauce was a little sweet for me but that’s a personal preference.
Even though I was one guy enjoying an inexpensive lunch, that same friendly guy came over from behind the counter to check on me. That was much appreciated.
I’ll be back for lunch again for sure and I’d love to give them a try for diner.

Merendino makes the best pizza around.
When ever we think of ordering pizza, everyone is thinking of only one place… Merendino!!!
The great thing about them is the taste is consistent every time and its GOOD!!!
Their service is great as well. I had a party at my house and i ordered a number of pies and other items. they gave me a great price and delivered as expected.

I love this place. Fast delicious food. Pizza is excellent, pasta dishes are excellent. I’ve never had something I didn’t like here. Nothing is over salted which happens so much when you eat food out. They changed owners a few years ago and stayed just as good. Even their salad is delicious. I love the combo salad!
God I miss good pizza.

Its all about the cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeese! Merendino’s uses a really good quality mozzerella in their dishes that is far superior to anything I’ve had in a long time. I don’t know where they get it from (I’d love to buy some) but it keeps me coming back. It’s 15 min from home, but its on the way home from work. They probably get their mozz from a specialty shop but they’ve managed to keep their costs reasonable! I always enjoy stopping here to pick up some yummy baked ziti or chicken parm!
