Awesome dinner last night at NE. Great service and most of all best fish n chips in town. Prices are reasonable and they have great drink specials. ½ price bottle wine on Fridays!

What a find!!! Freshest salad with excellent blue cheese dressing, both the fresh trout and grilled salmon were cooked to perfection and the bread pudding dessert is amazing! Even the coffee is good! Waitor was totally attentive and courteous! Such a lovely experience!

We were looking for something different to try and we were pleasantly surprised to find Northeast Seafood Kitchen! Our waitress, Shannon, was super friendly and took the time to tell us about the house favorites. The Salmon with baked beans and crispy onions was an unusual combination but it was very tasty. The hot lobster roll was«to die for» complete with homemade kettle chips and cole slaw. We were equally impressed to meet Chef Alex who took the time to come to our table to thank us for choosing his restaurant that evening. We will definitely be back and I would recommend this restaurant to all friends and family!

Excellent seafood. I don’t know about other things on the menu because I always order seafood when I am here. When they have soft shell crabs you can’t find better anywhere. Also their lobster mac and cheese is fantastic. I had stopped ordering it in other restaurants because it was always too dry and no lobster. In this restaurant it’s creamy and nice large chunks of lobster. I have never had a bad meal in this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

So good, worth it every time ! Nothing like it in the area ! The stuffed flounder came out like a bouquet stuffed with the sweetest tasting crab meat. I could go on … But you just need to try it yourself !

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was clean and nautical themed, but done in a classy way. I had the mahimahi which I would highly recommend. You can’t go wrong with any fish dish here.

Deceptive due to its store front location. The clams, stuffed flounder, scallops, and tuna tartar were fresh and outstanding!

Outdoor seating on a really nice evening. Quick service for 6. Friendly staff. Enjoyed the chowder. Grilled octopus was really well done. Everyone partook of that appetizer. All the food was well prepared: salad, crab cakes, fish & chips, tuna, salmon. Definitely worth a return visit next time we’re in town.

Fantastic food and a great casual atmosphire! Very hospitable service. In a small shopping strip, but, quiet and there is a very nice deck in the back to eat on. They have a nice bar with a good selection of craft beers. Open until 10 pm each night. The atmosphire is light and well lit. The Unilocal write up is wrong about their hours. All and all, a well run establishment worthy of your custom.

Wow — what a wonderful restaurant! In addition to the creative drinks — the«Summer Thyme Martini» with real thyme was great — everyone enjoyed their meals. Lobster mac was great, crab bites, calamari, salmon. We loved it all. Not to mention the dessert — the bread pudding was delish and a generous helping. Our server Colin was truly outstanding — funny, informative and made the whole evening really perfect.

Everything was just wonderful. Colin was our server and I can’t recommend him enough!!! Food was delicious. The atmosphere was equally awesome. I could go on but will add pictures so you can live vicariously. Don’t overthink it. Come here if you’re in the area.

It would have been nice if some of the hostesses didn’t dress so provocatively and in what appeared to be lingerie. To sit and see one gal go back and forth, I notice how the other patrons reacted as well. Just not the appropriate attire for a dining room. The food was exceptional and our server, Reagan was so much fun. She was aware of our needs and acted without having to be asked. Pleasant and efficient.

Northeast Seafood Kitchen is one of the best, most consistent restaurants I’ve found in the Ocean City area. Part of the Matt Haley family of restaurants, it sits in a rather unconventional location in a small strip mall in an easily drivable small town away from the beach. The inside is basic with discreet décor and the obligatory seafood paraphernalia, with very high ceiling and 2 separate rooms(1 with the kitchen and 1 with the bar). There is also an outdoor seating area with picnic tables which – while being next to the parking lot – does a good job of providing atmosphere. The beer list is good with some worthwhile picks, drinks are well made, and overall the service has always been great every time I’ve gone. All that is good and well(even though most OC restaurants manager to screw up 1 or more elements). Luckily, the food also measures up. One thing that is sorrowfully missing in NYC are fried whole belly clams. You can easily find clam strips but not the whole thing, and when you do many times they overcook them. Here they are just right – tender, slightly crisp and succulent. They also pair well with the mustard tartar sauce that also accompanies the calamari(also good and a big portion). Their caesar salad is good as well, and even comes with sardines like every caesar should. Last time for my main I got the scallops with chorizo, spinach, mashed potatoes and lemon butter sauce. They were great even though 1 or 2 could have been seared a bit better. The chorizo was a perfect contrast for the scallops along with the bitterness of the spinach. The potatoes added some heft to soak up the sauce. With the exception of my brother who got the lobster mac and cheese(too little lobster), everyone else was happy with their food which ranged from a burger to fish to a bacon wrapped hot dog. For prior meals the order has been similar but in particular I’ve had fish before and have been satisfied. This may be off the beaten path, but I’d recommend shlepping out here anyway. On the plus side they also are never really that packed so you’re not having to vie for a table or your server/the kitchen’s attention. Relaxation is one of the main points of vacation and if you value it then you’ll like this place. Oh, and like I said the food is great.

After reading so many good reviews of the North East Seafood Kitchen here on Unilocal,we decided to give it a try. Thankfully, we were not disappointed! We arrived at 5(they open at 4!) and were seated right away. The restaurant is clean and large and airy and a very inviting space. Of course, we started our dinner with the fried calamari appetizer. Lightly fried and served with a tasty tartar sauce… winner! The kids loved it, too! We indulged in cocktails this evening… a Shipwrecked cocktail for him and a Watermelon Crush for me… yum! My older son(10) ordered the fish and chips with a root beer from the kids menu. And my other son(8) went with the bacon wrapped hot dog from the main menu. It was too big for him, but we had a feeling that might happen. It was really unique and tasty, though. I enjoyed the blackened Mahi Mahi, and my husband had the Lobster BLT. Really delicious choices. Our server was Shannon and she was SONICE and really helpful and kind.

Love this place! You can’t go wrong with Matt Haley’s Sodel Concepts restaurants, the twin lobster tails tempura and the soft shell’s are so good! Staff is friendly, definitely carrying on Matt’s legacy in style! I have to add that Nick and Lindsey are awesome and both are the reason that I will be coming back! Thanks again!

Went here lastnight for dinner. Good décor, good menu. Service was attentive and waitress was very helpful. Food was bland and tasteless, We ordered Calamari which were very greasy/oily and Fried shrimp for main course all very plain! Would not return here again.

Had an awesome meal here last night! I’ve been vacationing in Bethany my entire life and decided I wanted seafood and I wanted to go to somewhere I had never been before. I had seen a sign for NESK and looked it up on Unilocal.Ok reviews but I like to check things out for myself. We sat outside on the patio bc it was a beautiful day out. I started with a water and a Grapefruit Crush. My crush was pretty awesome(strong) as where my boyfriends was watery. They tasted good either way just inconsistent. I got the Calamari as a starter and Nick got the Caesar Salad. I’m a bit of a Calamari snob… it was great! Melt in your mouth and not chewy it all! I was so happy! Nick also said he enjoyed his salad. For our meals I had the Grilled Swordfish which came with Zucchini, Carrot, and Squash ribbons and Mashed Potatoes. Everything was absolutely perfect! Nick had the Baltimore Fried Shrimp with French Fries and he said it was one of the best fried shrimp he’s ever had! Our server(I never remember their names) was very attentive and nice. All in all a very good experience! I can’t wait to bring my family the next time they are all here.
