An A+ breakfast! I was here twice recently, and very impressed and satisfied overall. the gluten free pancakes are phenomenal and the best I’ve had; and that’s coming from someone who doesn’t normally like pancakes! The portions are hefty here and you can rest assured you’ll get your money’s worth. I’m absolutely crazy about the sausage links they serve here– so juicy and tasty. The corned beef hash was a tad different than what I’ve come to know and it was a tad on the salty side. But I love salt, so it’s all good. I’m a coffee connoisseur so the coffee here wasn’t really to my liking– think diner style coffee. I prefer real maple syrup and you have to order that separately here as the stuff on the table is run of the mill imposter syrup. Great service overall, great ambiance, and super clean restrooms/restaurant. Would definitely go back.

Yep, a great goto spot for a cozy breakfast with family. Pumpkin pancakes, stuffed french toast and omlete all dialed in for fantastic. Service is with a smile and prompt 4 stars for pricy but worth it.

Best pancakes! We go to Uncle Bill’s every time we’re in town. They are very busy in the summer, so be prepared to wait but the pancakes are worth it.

We are within walking distance of this place here in OC, so went over for breakfast with our 11 month old. The place is large and looks fairly new, and there was no wait. Our waitress was quick to take orders, very nice, and our food came out within 10 minutes. I had sausage links with scrambled eggs, waffle on the side. The sausage and eggs were pretty standard, but the waffle was incredible. It was a good experience, and next door there is an ice cream shop if you’re in the mood. We will definitely be back.

We came in on a Wednesday morning in June and we were probably one of three families there. Service was quick, food was good. Nothing special at this location.

Great place, clean and very very expensive. $ 9.25 for a regular omelette without home-fries. $ 3.00 more for home-fries. So that’s $ 12.25 for an omelette the should cost 7.50 with home-fries. They should be embarrassed charging this prices. $ 8.25 for plain pancakes. Really? I asked about the prices and they said those were jersey shore prices. I wasn’t expecting cheap but I was expect some value for the price.

My friends came down the day before I did and said we had to eat breakfast here. I wasn’t disappointed. Everything was awesome! I asked if it was like an IHOP, they said better and they weren’t lying! My wife makes corn pancakes and they actually had it on the menu and was just as good as my wife’s.

My overall experience here was a good one. Uncle bills is a very clean restaurant(the bathrooms were spotless as well) which is a huge plus for me. As for the food it was spot on. I had pancakes, eggs over easy and sausage links and everything was cooked just right. My wife had the stuffed French toast and that was amazing!!! Side note– the home fries were really really good. Our server was really nice and attentive. There were a few drawbacks for us. 1) the parking was kind of tough. 2) if you have small children they won’t allow you to bring their stroller in but they do provide a sling that you can rest the car seat in. Next time I’m in ocean city we will definitely return here!

There is usually a wait on any given morning in the summer and for good reason. This is one of the best places to get a decent breakfast down the shore. Everything i’ve had on the menu was pretty good. This is straight forward food, nothing fancy about it. Did you know they also serve dinner? That food is pretty good as well.

This Uncle Bill’s location is the most recently renovated with newer booths and restrooms. Uncle Bill’s is the quintessential breakfast and lunch spot for many summer tourists in OC. It is a larger restaurant, but with no reservations it’s best to come at an off time to avoid the crowds and wait time. This location has a counter seating option with 8 stools for those who prefer not to wait for a table. Overall it’s a quaint and simple atmosphere and menu. The servers have a uniform with blue aprons, reminiscent of the Amish and the menu is printed on a blue and white paper placemat. Pricing is affordable, but slightly higher than some of the other OC divey breakfast joints. Wonderful family atmosphere if you want to bring small children. Home fries are frozen cubed potatoes and French fries are frozen crinkle cut. I prefer the breakfast selection to the lunch, but if you come by later in the day check out their new ice cream spot right next door, Aunt Betty’s Ice Cream!

My mom used to go to Uncle Bill’s as a child so we needed to return. I ordered chocolate banana pancakes with whipped cream — sooo good. My parents ordered the stuffed cinnamon waffles… Great consistency and delish! My brother decided on the peach pancakes and loved them. And my sister had a traditional breakfast. Overall, the dining experience was great, but my only complaints are empty drinks and the diner like atmosphere. We would return!

We went to the Aunt Betty’s Ice Cream side of the restaurant. I was able to get a gluten free sugar cone and the server washed her hands and the scoop! We will certainly return!

A staple of the OC experience for vets like me, and newbies if you are one. Throwback interior, super-happy service from an enthusiastic staff, great location, and just-like-back-home food. Try the cornbeef hash(I think it was #36 on the menu). Yummmm… hash is crisped on the exterior and salty and scrumptious inside. Kids seem to love the chocolate and peanut butter pancakes. A little rich for me, but then again, I don’t like sweets. Cream cheese stuffed French toast is rather decadent. Had to scrape out some of the filling. Still, very tasty. Every time we come to OC, we hit up Bill’s!

This was my first Uncle Bill’s experience and I have been craving their pancakes ever since! Surprisingly, our group of three was seated immediately at 10 on a Sunday. Unheard of, right? Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the peanut butter and banana pancakes. They came out within 10 minutes. They were excellent! The peanut butter was within the batter so it was throughout the pancake. There were huge chunks of banana cooked into them as well. Best combination ever. The pancakes were light, fluffy, and packed with flavor! The last bite was as good as the first. The only downside is the heap of butter they put on the pancakes. I just moved it to another plate though. Ever since I have been searching for pb banana pancakes of equal quality but so far I have come up short. I guess I need to make a trip back to the shore!

I think it’s more in the name here! But I wanted to have breakfast out instead of doing takeout. We arrived around 9:30AM and got right in. I ordered 3 buttermilk pancakes, with bacon, & eggs. The wife had a bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin with a side of hash browns. As soon as we placed our order with in 5 minutes our order had arrived. I even thought that they had stuff already made in the kitchen it came out so quickly. The pancakes were hot and had butter melting on them. Only received 2 pieces of bacon which I thought was very chinsy. I poured on my syrup and went to town, The pancakes were delicious! Hence the name Uncle Bill’s Pancake house. If i was to go again i would just order pancakes! The egg was alright. and the hash browns that I split with Lauren were very cold and had no veggies mixed in. Her sandwich was okay as well. After our meal we had to wait in line to pay at the cash register, which was bout 6 deep, for a place this busy in season maybe they should upgrade their billing system to make it easier to leave. After paying we walked outside to about 35 people waiting to be seated it was about 10AM now, My advice is get there early if you want to beat the crowd, especially in season.

An amazing breakfast place that’s a long tradition in Ocean City NJ! I see a lot of people complaining about the prices, but for my money everything they offer is worth it! I never go into that place without getting a #23. It’s a tourist city, of course everything is going to be a bit overpriced. But few other places on the island can offer you as tasty a breakfast as good ol’ Uncle Bill’s!
