Excellent breakfast, great wait staff and prices are spot on. My only complaint is their kitchen ventilation system. My clothes smelled like breakfast all day. Beef up the system please!

There was a line when we walked up. We had our kiddo with us so they took mercy on us and sat us at a small table in the back. Breakfast sandwiches were great! I had the green goddess and hubby had the southwestern. My son had a smoothie which was really flavorful. Definitely understand why there was a wait.

Great food with amazing variety and daily specials. Staff is extremely friendly and makes the entire experience that much better. I had eggs, avocado & tomato on a Kaiser– all fresh and perfectly delicious!

Had a great breakfast here. The omelets are good, and we tried pork roll and scrapple(when in NJ). Service was a little spotty, but the place was packed. A must try when you are in OC.

Stopped in for breakfast and everything I ordered was delicious. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, pineapple smoothie, even Cream of Wheat! It was pretty busy, but worth the wait. Will be back.

We’ve gone for breakfast several times. So far the omelets have been very good. Prices are reasonable and service is very good. Our only complaint is the flies buzzing and ants crawling on the honey. Hopefully staff will be more aggressive with these pests.

There’s a lot of places to eat in Ocean City NJ, but definitely one of my favorites is Sunrise Café. The food is always very good and fresh. The help there are extra nice and always have a smile on. I love their breakfasts and their lunches, especially the burger sliders because they come with fresh avocado on them. Big portions, not too expensive and wonderful atmosphere. I have NEVER had a bad experience here and we eat there often and will continue to.

Worst service ever waited 40 minutes for a table and an additional 40 just to get our food then ended up not being good.

Had a great breakfast here this morning. Good selection on the menu, my son had the red, white and blue French toast and loved it.

Perfect breakfast spot! Eat outside if you can as I heard the inside can be a bit cramped. Fresh squeezed orange juice 4 out of 5 Tomato Avocado Sandwich 5 out of 5 The OJ was delicious but was served warm. Would have preferred it chilled. Sandwich was so clean and so good. Not greasy at all. Had it on an everything bagel. Service was also solid. Overall just a really great little place to eat a quick meal. Highly recommended. ALSO. Be sure to use the Unilocal app on your phone to check in so you get a free HUGE chocolate chip cookie!

It appears if the sun has yet to rise and the«cook» in the back is still working in the dark I started off with the fresh squeezed orange juice, a $ 5 small collins glass full of warm juice. Taste good, but not worth $ 5 The cream of wheat was anything but creamy, it was filled with hard nuggets of unmixed or burnt mix, as large as grapes. The BLT bagel with Avocado had no avocado. Had to send back to the kitchen. The tomato slices were paper thin, like you would get at a deli on a hoagie. The avocado on round 2 was about 2 days away from being ripe and there was only 2 small slices on each sandwich half. The bacon was WAY overcooked and you can just imagine it sitting under the heat lamp for the last 2 hours. Oh, and its served with a mini-bag of lays plain potato chips, not some handcut gourmet chips you’d expect. At the very least, buy generic kettle-cooked chips and place them on my plate, but only your local walk up pizza counter can get away with mini foil packs on your plate. The first omelette was burnt and not edible… and only fitting the toast came just as burnt. The second omelette was almost undercooked, but only because the tomatoes we ordered in it were not precooked and all their juices made the omelette soggy(and probably unable to burn). Service is still slow and unattentive, when there’s a problem(and there always is here). Towards the end of our meal, our one guest said«oh my God, I can’t take it anymore, the flies in here won’t stop landing on me, I have to leave». She stood outside in the heat while we waited for the check(being accosted by flies ourself). I’ve given this 6 tries over 2 years. Normally I wouldnt give so many chances, but shore breakfast places have a monopoly and when your faced with an hour wait somewhere else, you talk yourself into forgetting your last experience and trying it again… NEVERAGAIN! I’d rather go hungry than suffer through another meal here!

Went twice during my week in O.C. and ordered the egg sandwich with avocado and Cooper on an everything bagel both times because it was so good. This is a cute, clean place with some seating outside. The mint lemonade was excellent and refreshing. The waitress brought me a taste of the jalapeño mint lemonade to try. It was also very good(different) but a bit too spicy for breakfast for me.

I wanted it to be good, and it had so much potential. Felt like we were on an assembly line. My egg sandwich with tomato and avocado was good, but not great. Daughter’s oatmeal was undercooked and missing blueberries as requested with the strawberries. Mistake happen and are actually opportunities to shine, but that didn’t happen. Had to ask for every coffee refill, no «is everything OK?» post food delivery visit, and no personal attention is why I felt rushed. I will give them another try for we all have bad days.

The place is a little small so seating gives the place some challenges. Staff was very nice to me and my family and offered to split us up to lower the waiting time. I’ve eaten plenty around here and I would no doubt recommend this place. Menu is different and is a great option for those that are looking for a little diversity and opting away from the usual hoagies, pizza and cheesesteaks. Prices are very reasonable and will make it a point to go again. Seems like the biggest complaints here are staff and waiting times, for us the staff were very friendly and as far as waiting I would rather wait for good food then eat bad food without a wait.

A few years ago we stayed in OCNJ and walked by a closed, baseball themed restaurant. This year we drive by to see an adorable café. We decided to stop in. It was the best decision we made all day! The food was super fresh and delicious. I had the Tomato, Avacado, and Egg sandwich. It was simple and so FRESH! I also had fresh made lemonade as well. I got the mint option. It was a bit overly sweet for me, but watered down, I’m sure it would be great. I gave a 4 star rating because the café was super cramped. Also, tables around us got their food before ours arrived even though we ordered first from the same waitress. I will say though, it was worth the wait and our waitress was very attentive.

Hidden gem of Ocean City. The jalapeño cucumber lemonade is out of this world! I got the avocado egg sandwich with a side of scrapple. My husband got a vegetable omelette. The waitress was friendly, funny and we got quick service. We will be returning tomorrow!

This became our every morning breakfast norm when we are at beach. They had a few options that we didn’t find many other places like fresh smoothies, yogurt parfait, and turkey bacon. Kids loved the fresh juice and smoothies. I always had a great omelette and home fries. Coffee was really good, even the decaf. The place is a little small with inside so we preferred the outside seating. On rainy mornings it would get packed but we were early risers so usually beat the rush if we got there by 9. Prices were reasonable. The fresh smoothies and juice were expensive but I understand why.

Came here to try something new in the area, and the sunrise café had very good reviews, so my boyfriend and I decided to try it out. After finding an amazing parking spot that cost a quarter for a whole hour, we walked across the street and went in the café. The waitress greeted us and told us to sit where ever we want, so we opted for the outdoor table. After 10 minutes of waiting, no one even came out to get our coffee order, or to even check on the table that was already sitting outside. So after a very long 10 minutes, we hungrily left and went else where. The menu looked good, too, but unfortunately we still have no idea. As a side note, there was only 2 tables outside including us, and 1 table eating inside, 1 table that had just finished and left… with 3 waitresses. There are way too many other breakfast places within walking distance to deal with that.

Excellent breakfast — fresh, hot and delicious. Came to the shore for the weekend over the winter. Great service and friendly servers. Had a meat lovers omelette, substituted sliced tomatoes for the toast and red potato home fries. Coffee was hot and good. We will definitely be back in the summer.

America… you love it. –Two for $ 5 take-out breakfast sandwiches… america. –Family-owned small business… freedom. –Delicious ingredients and friendly service… liberty. A morning in OCNJ and a quick search on Unilocal brought me here quicker than an SR-71 Blackbird. In no time I got my take-out and was feasting on chunks of democracy. If your blood runs as red/white/blue as mine, you’ll eat here. EATIT! IT’S GOOD!
