Great store with a large inventory– great owner — great style clothes and jewelry — very good prices. You can spend hours in this shop– always come out with some great clothes and jewelry.

The best store ever!!! Mark and Susan have owned this store for 21 years and they are just the sweetest. Stopped in after a friend recommended and I scored some cute finds! Totally reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go!

The coolest shop I have ever been in. I would drive 5 hours to shop here. The prices are a tad high but supporting local, amazing friendly people and getting some insanely cute things while doing so? Sign me up. Check this place out !

This is an adorable store with unique gifts, clothes, jewelry, and accessories! For me, this is a beach «must», as much as steamed crabs or getting in the ocean. I have been going to this store for years, way back to when they were at the old location. It’s owned by a sweet couple who always thank you for your business and for shopping local. You can get great beach themed items here and the place is decorated beautifully. I have never come out without finding something, even my husband loves it! And most summers you can almost always find a coupon for a free gift with purchase and it is always great stuff! I cannot say enough how much I look forward to this store each time I head down, wish there were more cute shops like this is OCMD. I was told last summer that they will expand soon and carry more houseware type items, I cannot wait! Some of the reviews stated the prices are outrageous, I disagree. Some items are out of my price range but I find they have a good mix of varied priced items. But it is a boutique afterall, not sunsations! Gag me! So you get what you pay for.

I’ve been shopping at Raggamuffin since I was a teen in the ‘90s and it was located right off the boardwalk. It’s a cute boutique with many adorable items but even as an adult with a decent-​paying job, I can barely afford to buy anything here. As a teen, I imagined being able to come back when I was grown up and going on shopping sprees here. Sadly, that will always be a dream of mine unless the owner (a friendly lady, I should add) decides to make prices a bit more reasonable.

I actually like the clothes/​accessories in this store and being older (I’m in my 40’s) I can afford the jacked up prices. But after the last visit with my 14 year old daughter, I’ll never go back. She brought an armload of clothes to try on into fitting room. The older man working (I guess the owner) told her «just leave the things you don’t want», so she did and went to browse the jewelry. He then came after her yelling «how dare you leave clothes on the floor!!!» One, she didn’t understand that «leave them» meant hang them neatly, Two, he would never have spoken to an adult that way. This adult and her credit cards won’t be back.

I understand that it is an independently owned shop and you’ve gotta make money some how but seriously? Their prices are worse than what you would find at any Free People or Urban Outfitters chain! My husband bought my two necklaces from here without my knowing but I found the receipt and the price was about $ 120! I looked up the maker of the necklaces and found them in their on-​line shop for $ 20 a piece!
Would not recommend shopping here. It’s a total rip off.

While walking to Fish Tales restaurant I stopped in the cute and cozy boutique, Raggamuffin. Right away I was greeted by a salesperson (maybe the owner?) who was super friendly and didn’t shop-​stalk me while I looked around.
I really loved the clothes and because they are great quality, the prices are steep– $ 60 — 100 on average. The store is two small rooms with mostly clothes, two glass displays exposing the accessories for sale and about 15 purses and scarves throughout the store. A purse I was considering was around 72.00. The accessories and clothing lines are not souvenir style by any means, instead its pricey fashion forward.
No mens clothes. The fitting room is decent size with a chair and long mirror inside.

Raggamuffin has tons of cute stuff. Dresses, jewelry, tops, hats… I love a lot of the stuff in the store. The inventory is always changing, and the staff is very friendly.
Unfortunately, it’s also rather pricey. It’s the kind of place where I might buy one thing in a year, or two. Be sure to go to their summer sale.

Raggamuffin may be my favorite boutique anywhere. Tons and tons of treasures, unique and really special finds. I’ve been shopping at Raggamuffin since 1995. The owners are super helpful and kind.
It’s just a perfect little spot, you can spend literally hours looking at all the wares. The displays are awesome! My aunt lives in OC and every visit to here yields several trips for Raggamuffin to me. :) My aunt even Christmas shops for me there.
It’s not cheap, true, but the merchandise is so enticing and unusual that I will gladly pay the prices. Besides, it’s a pleasure supporting a wonderful independent business.
Long live Raggamuffin. I only wish they had a website.

I went here based on Janeen D.‘s review thinking it was gonna be a great place to find some odds and ends, but even if I did find something here, I wouldn’t be able to afford it. Probably most expensive shopping place in OC that I’ve seen. Ridiculous prices.

Love this store! It used to be much smaller and closer to the boardwalk, but this new location is an old house and has several small rooms of fun things for sale! Staff is really friendly and you can tell they truly believe in their business, love what they sell, and enjoy speaking with customers.
My favorite things are their dresses and jewelry. They have many unique finds that you most likely will not see anywhere else! If you are looking for a new summer dress this is your place!
