Pizza is the best. John, the pizza maker, throws the dough high and always has some words of you wanna talk. Anastasia is as sweet as any server in the state. We love this place. Only negative is that the inside needs some updating. With new flooring and some updates this place would be perfect.

Pizza was good, very cool to see your pie made in the oven, staff was nice and very prompt with food and drink refills, owner came by our table to greet us and ask what we needed. I chose 4 out 5 stars bc the inside was a little dated and could use some updating.

Pizza earned an A+. We ordered pepperoni extra cheese because the Mrs likes extra cheese. I can honestly say they put extra cheese on it. Another great pizza is the meat lovers. They definitely are not stingy on the toppings. We have never eaten in always ordered and carried out. If your looking for a great pizza this is the place.

Ordered pizza from here over the weekend. 1. The guy charged me for meatballs, but did not give me meatballs. This is after asking him several times for them. Thanks, douche. 2. The pizza was really undercooked and barely edible. 3. The veggie toppings that were on the pizza were all in the center, basically nothing on the outside of the pizza.

My son and I were looking for a really good pizza in the Ocean City area. I found great reviews on Unilocal for J&J’s Pizzeria and thought that we would give them a try. What a find! We ordered a large pizza with bacon, mushrooms, pepperoni and meatballs for pickup. Delicious!!! All of the ingredients were fresh. The bacon was real bacon and not those awful bacon bits. The meatballs were moist and flavorful. The crust was crispy and baked to perfection. This is my go to place for pizza in Ocean City from now on.

Love the pizza here! It’s always delicious and the crust has amazing air bubbles. Try the meatballs — either as a side or on the pie. You won’t be disappointed. Watch as the pizzas are made in front of your eyes in the brick oven.

A bunch of girlfriends were on this trip we had been shopping next door and were getting hungry. Some of the girls had eaten here before we agreed to go there. It was a nice spacious restaurant the people who ran the restaurant were very friendly we ordered 3 pizzas to share — the bbq chicken it was a bit heavy on the sauce but was good, we also enjoyed the greek pizza and the tomato and cheese pizza.

Pizza was delicious. Great brick oven crust. Service was kinda spotty but the pizza made up for it.

I had one slice and me and my gf both looked at each other and couldnt eat another bite. Maybe its just our personal taste but I can’t understand how the other reviews were so glowing. Sad because its right up the street but the pizza just didnt seem done enough but the crust seemed slightly burnt. Also, not sure if it was bacteria or just ash from the woodfire grill or what but the cutting boards behind the counter were black… not exactly confidence inspiring. Feel free to give it a try but it just wasnt for us.

Excellent fresh pizza and very hospitable. Ordered the meat pizza and white. I find it annoying Unilocal makes you type more information just to make a post. A

I love J & Js pizza, by far the best in OC! Always fresh and consistently good. Owner/pizza maker is super nice, love supporting a local place with good specials and a great pizza!

Warning… do NOT order their margherita pizza, it’s not a traditional margherita pizza. What pizzeria would serve margherita pizza without tomato sauce??? I can’t even begin to contain the disappointment I felt when our pizza came white.:(I should’ve read the menu closer, the old-world pizza was the one I really meant to order. We pretty much made our unhappiness known to the server. She offered no apology. On the rest of the meal… the mozzarella sticks were ok. Breading was a little thick. The kids’ pizza looked to be the best meal at our table. Very disappointing experience, especially after reading the other Unilocal reviews.

Great brick oven pizza. You can smell the wood fire as you pull up. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful. Really good, in fact I would say one of the better pizza places in OC. I gave it 4 stars because it was a little spicy… Maybe the sausage? All in all really good… Go there!

J&J is the best Pizza by far in the Berlin and Ocean City area. John the chef is the main ingredient in this operation. His pizza is as close to NY pizza I’ve had since moving to Ocean City. I tried them all and there is no comparison. They use quality ingredients in all their dishes.

Awesome wood fire pizza. One of the best I have had. The wife and kids love it. We usually hit this place on the way in and out of OC. Only one negative is this is the epitome of dive. Pretty dirty inside. Positive is that when we go it’s usually light in patrons and they don’t care that the kids tear it up.

J & J’s It is a love hate relationship with J & J’s and me. Sometime I think the Pizza Pie is so awesome & I go to far and eat off the menu, from the adjacent Italiano joint. Bad Idea. Stick to the Pie, the wood burning oven imparts the proper flavor We get specialty pies with Feta and Spinach and what not, but a proper base pie with just cheese or pepperoni is very good here. I only know of one pizza place better in all Delmarva, and it is only open in the Summer, so…

I’ve driven by J & J’s for over 3 years now. I only just now visited due to the reviews here. Why go? Because the wood burning brick oven makes for some awesome pizza! I admit, the pizza sauce could use a little more flair: I like more savory flavors in mine: garlic, oregano, etc. But the pizza crust is a-mazing coming out of the oven! Extra kudos for the owner(?)/chef: had a pleasant chat when I visited.

This place was an oasis for three hungry, tired travelers last week. After passing on dinner at Higgin’s Crab House where two crab cakes will set you back $ 25.99, we went over the OC causeway to the mainland and stumbled upon J&J’s. The first thing to strike me was the mellow, sweet smoke of the wood burning pizza oven. Next was the warm greeting by the guy who was pizza maker, waiter and, presumably, bus boy. Even though it was late — close to closing time around 9 p.m. and the waitress had already left — he was friendly and seemed glad to have customers. I didn’t get his name(my bad) but he’s probably in his early 50s with a shaved head, some cool tats and an Indian motorcycle parked outside. Nice guy. He did enlist the help of a waiter from the adjoining restaurant to serve. He was polite and efficient. Our water glasses were always full, he checked on us regularly, and the table was always cleared. The cream of crab soup($ 6) was delicious. It was not thick and starchy like new England clam chowder often is. It reminded me more of South Carolina She-Crab Soup, but a little lighter and with a healthy pinch of Old Bay seasoning. The Caesar salad wasn’t anything special, but the Romaine was crisp, the dressing was balanced and I didn’t have to ask for anchovies. The pizza was dynamite. We got a large pizza with pepperoni and sausage for $ 15.99. It was humungous. The crust was thin and toasty. The dough was obviously fresh. I loved that the sausage was sliced, not crumbled. The beer was a deal: $ 1.90 draft Yuengling’s and $ 3.75 for Sam in a bottle. A few locals were seated next to us downing pitchers of something. We ate well and ate a lot for $ 42 before tip. Pizza lovers, don’t hesitate to try the pie at J&J’s. J&J’s is not an attractive space, but the food, service and local color more than made up for that.
