They have beautiful things, but they are insanely overpriced. I stood at the counter one night to price something, and I waited for one of the two ladies in that section for about 10 minutes to acknowledge my presence. I’m 6 foot tall and upwards of 250 lbs. Not exactly hard to see.

I was in Ocean City for the day in September, I purchased a bangle by Alex and Ani that at the time I didn’t know was discontinued by the company. The bangle broke a few weeks later. I emailed Alex and Ani and they told me to return it to the jewelry store where I purchased the bangle from… I started to worry because I do not live very close to Ocean City. I called Henry’s and talked to a wonderful lady named Nancy and she immediately put the replacement bangle on home and instructed me to send the broken bangle by mail, and she would replace it for me. I sent the broken bangle on a Tuesday and received the replacement on a Saturday! Henry’s exceeded my expectations they were beyond wonderful especially Nancy. I highly recommend Henry’s, and can’t wait to return next summer for beautiful jewelry!

I posted my review in the tips section accidentally before. I just bought a Pandora ring, and it turned out to be tarnished on the bottom. I had seen her clean it, but obviously not enough. I didn’t get a cleaning cloth(but my friend did which is weird), so I had to clean this off myself, making the cloth completely black. I’m disappointed as I expected better.

We visited Ocean City, NJ for our daughter’s 9th birthday. She received a Pandora bracelet from her grandmother and wanted to buy a charm to «remember her beach birthday». We went to Henry’s and she found the exact one she wanted with a little wave and the words«Ocean City» on it. She spent her own birthday money on the charm and was so excited she insisted on checking on it and carrying it throughout the day. We had a great day on the beach and boardwalk but somehow between dinner and dessert, the bag containing the charm turned up empty. After lots of tears and talking about responsibility and lessons learned, my daughter wanted to go back and spend her final bit of savings on a replacement. Henry’s sales staff remembered us and were so kind. As we got ready to leave and purchase the replacement, they very graciously replaced the lost charm for free. My daughter was overjoyed and we were beside ourselves. Thanks to these very nice people, a gorgeous day was rescued and it was a great lesson for my daughter in not only being responsible for your treasures, but also in being grateful for the kindness of others. Thank you so much! Henry’s now has some new customers for life.

Upsetting that the people at Henry’s «profile» you as you walk through the door. Walked in(cut offs and a tshirt– NORMAL boardwalk wear because, lets be serious, who in their right mind walks on the boardwalk in July in a suit and tie), was looked up and down, and blatantly ignored even though they weren’t busy, until I asked to see something. The man pulled out the pieces, read off the tag some stats and then gave me a price and basically treated me like«okay, NEXT…» Just because you’re on a boardwalk, doesn’t mean you get to treat people like they’re ordering pizza at Mac and Mancos(they do a better job at treating the customer with respect there, anyway). You won’t miss anything if you don’t go there, I promise.

Apparently this is the ‘go to’ for all jewelry needs when at the shore. Unfortunately, I only left with a sweatshirt and pair of sweatpants — ha! However, my Mom does her annual Anniversary, Birthday and Christmas shopping(for herself) when she visits every year and that way Dad is done shopping for her in one shot. I wish I had the money to spend on the jewelry as it was all very lovely and the prices were decent as well. Everything from Gold pieces, to shell pieces… Pandora as well as Alex and Ani — something for all budgets really — even Buy 1 Get 1 stretchy bracelets in the corner for us poor folk. The store is small but they have plenty of help and it is well lit. They help is very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you’re happy with your purchase. My Mom bought a bracelet which was too large for her(tiny) wrists(I finally got SOME good genes from the family)…so they re-sized it and turned one of the extra links into a pendant at no charge so she wasn’t loosing out no that gold. That’s a really nice touch that goes a long way for their customer. As another reviewer said — they do offer a lot of pieces with shells, crabs, lobsters, starfish… etc. Let’s be serious, you’re in a store, off a Boardwalk… at a beach… in a beach town. You don’t come here to buy an engagement ring, you come here to buy something that reminds you of the location and the summer and the beach. You can’t find those things inland at the department store. Personally, I am not a fan of that kind of jewelry either… but I can’t blame the store for selling things that describe the place they are located. The store next door sells home décor items — beachy signs, starfish bowls, «at the beach» dish towels — can you penalize them too? Come on. I can say that I love my sweats from Henry’s though!

My go to Jeweler in OC. Great selection, VERY friendly and accommodating. Jeff and staff know how to treat a customer whether your buying a huge diamond or just a stud. They also pierced my sons ear, painless and friendly.

Ugh… I must say I am not a fan of Henry’s. I get it… its a jewelry store at the beach, but seriously, how many gold crustacean necklaces does one store need? I’d estimate at least 50% of this store’s inventory contains some crab/sand dollar/sailboat/bucket & shovel/starfish/dolphin/otherwise generic seashore symbol slapped onto a necklace or bracelet. And please, don’t get me started on the service. If you are younger or otherwise look like money, you will not get helped. The remaining 50% of their inventory is usually overpriced and underwhelming. Even though it is one of the boardwalk’s nicest stores, there are way better jewelry stores around. Don’t bother.

Good selection of jewelry and watches. I get down to OC every summer, and every summer I end up getting something at Henrys. Last time I was there I bought a nice, simple silver necklace for the gf and as always was treated well. Ask for Jeff, he is a sweetheart.

I come to the shore every summer with my family, and we have our boardwalk staples: polish water ice, a few games of skee ball, and a slice from Mac &Manco’s. A couple summers ago, we ventured past our usual«turn-around point»(the last Mac & Manco’s, where the boards narrow.) And I AMSOGLADWEDID!!! Apparently Henry’s has been there since 1972??? Instead of focusing on what I missed all those years, I’m instead going to tell all of you: THEBOARDWALKDOESN’T ENDAFTERMAC&MANCO’S!!! Henry’s sells jewelry and clothing that remind you of the beach, but not in a touristy/tacky way. I always thought it was impossible to make a «classy souvenir», but you have to see the O.C. Hook Bracelet… that’s really what sold me on the Henry’s style. Bottom Line: Unique, classy, friendly… DEFINITELYWORTHTHETRIP!

Earliest i can remember going to Henry’s was when i was 10 or 11, and although it’s changed a lot, it’s also the same — everyone’s smiling and there’s always someone happy to help! They’re diverse, high quality, and even though i live on the west coast now, every time i come back to the shore, a stop at Henry’s is guaranteed.
