Paula mentioned to us that their breakfast was really good and to give them another try. We went in for breakfast and we’re glad we did. Great service and food. We’ll be back for breakfast for sure

I had Sunday brunch a week ago. The omelets were delightfully fluffy. And I’m a sucker for unsweetened iced tea with lemon. I was happy.

Rotten spinach, limp lettuce, hard salmon. I would never recommend eating here. I couldn’t even eat the salad and they would not take it back and they forced me to pay. The cook came out and gave me a lame excuse that the spinach was rotten because of the balsamic vinegar. Obviously he shouldn’t be a cook.

I’m so dissappointed in this place… by the looks of it, it seemed like a nice place. Unfortunately, the waitstaff is very inexperienced. They NEVER cleared anything from our table. When I finally requested that they clear an obvious pile of dirty dishes I had stockpiled(hoping they would get the hint) away before they brought out dessert, they acted like it was such a strange request. Our«appetizer» was the soggy flatbread. Yuck. My prime rib came obviously overcooked.(I requested med-rare, and they delivered a brown w/a touch of pink center piece) I said that was not what I ordered, and the waitress insisted that it was! «Oh, yes. That’s the med-rare piece.» No. I gave it a chance and cut into the tough piece and tried it… no go. When I insisted there was a problem(again) the waitress said, «Oh, He’s going to cook a „whole new“ piece for you!» like they were doing me a big favor. Less than one minute later, she arrived back at the table with a piece cooked exactly the same as the first. I had enough by then, and just wanted to get on with my dinner with the rest of my family. By the way, they have a limited menu(at least on Tuesdays) The appetizer was the soggy flatbread. Dinner is either Prime Rib or flounder. We didn’t even have a choice of salad dressings! No wonder why the place was dead!

The service was rude, short, and plain awful! When we finally did get our bfast… The eggs for the benedict were over cooked and cold! Toast was not toasted… And homefries were undercooked and cold! Everything was cold and so plain and small for the prices! I have loved my stay here at flanders hotel but I will never eat here at emily’s again!!!

Situated inside the beautiful and historic Flander’s hotel Emily’s is a great little escape from the busy boardwalk of Ocean City for a romantic dinner. On the way in before you enter the restaurant there are two fun doors marked«catacombs» and«map room». We couldn’t get in them :(There is also a «dress» that is stiff and the back cut off so you can get behind it and pose for a picture. Service was just ok, we had to ask for refills quite a bit as well as plates for our(very good) freshly grilled bread and olive oil. We started with the pesto chicken appetizer and bruchetta which was good. Each entrée comes with a house salad, but sides are extra. I enjoyed my chicken which was topped with roasted red peppers, spinach and provolone cheese. My boyfriend had a good steak, although it was funny to see a plate without any sides, just the steak. The bill ended up being pretty reasonable with the two meals and the appetizer, although, it could have gotten pricey if we opted for the sides. My only complaints would be that it backs up to Midway and it is very loud when that outside door opens and the women’s restroom, albeit the entrance is pretty, is cramped and didn’t seem well kept.
