Nothing special… Slow service had to wait 10mins before some even got drinks for us. Offer Famous Omelet Sized sandwiches, but I was not allowed to get a western omelet sandwich? It was one extra ingredient from a sandwich they already offered, but was told they could not do it.

Just had Pizza from here my wife and I had a bad dinner experience elsewhere and I had heard for years how great there Pizza was. We were staying at the Hampton Inn which was only a 2 minute walk so I called and ordered a an medium half pepperoni n cheese was shocked to hear the total come to 16.25??? Once I got there and saw how small it was with the baby pepperoni I was immediately disappointed and my wife and I were not satisfied with the quality and taste place for pizza should be a lot better for the prices

Good breakfast. Friendly service. Had the sausage gravy and biscuits. Was pretty standard. Ordered a side of bacon which seemed pricey at first but when I received a plate of around 9 pieces of crispy bacon the prize wasn’t so bad. Also had a few friends that greatly enjoyed the pancakes. A side of homefries is huge so be prepared to share.

Everything was good. Awesome service. Best pastrami sandwich I had in years. Funnel cake fries; to die for. Only thing missing was ice cream.

I’m giving the dough roller a 3 star just based on how interesting this place is. I recently went here for breakfast on a Sunday(right before leaving to head home to Long Island). My friends and I were placed in the side room where they seem to hold big parties. Waitress came over to greet us and told us she’ll be right back. We all pretty much had a rough night and was just ready to eat food and be on our merry way. I’ll call it being short staffed. But it took the waitress quite a bit to get over to our table. Wasn’t terrible because we were all discussing what we were getting to eat. Upon return, she asked if we are all ready to place drink orders. We had told her we are ready to place the entire entrée order as well. She took all the drink and food orders and put them in for us. She returned pretty quick with the drinks. Not much later food was out as well. I ordered the country omelet. Packed with all sorts of breakfast meats cheddar jack cheese and I believe it was onion, and they give you sour cream on the side. I’ve been told by the locals to go there for the pancakes. I was able to get pancakes instead of toast. It was delicious. A little over kill inside the omelet, way to much stuff inside, you cant really even taste egg. The pancakes were good. I didn’t like the taste of the butter they give you. It tasted like that«I can’t believe its not butter» butter… but the syrup was good! I feel like when I visit next year I will go for the Lunch/Dinners here. I heard from locals that the Pizzas are pretty good.

The inside of the restaurant has plenty of room, but as far as breakfast fare goes it was pretty mediocre. The country omelet was alright, the potatoes could have used some more crisp and/or seasoning. The strawberry pancakes were probably the standout, soft and not too sweet. I’ll be looking for another breakfast spot in OC…

It’s your typical Dough Roller. They waitresses don’t have much personality but they are friendly enough. We ended up getting a medium pizza with pineapple, mushrooms and chicken, chicken tenders, a small fry and a small house salad. Don’t even bother getting a small house salad… it is VERY small. The rest of the food was good(I don’t know about the chicken tenders because I didn’t have any but my boyfriend ate them all). The pizza had an okay amount of mushrooms(could’ve used more), a TON of pineapple and a decent amount of chicken. I highly recommend NOT getting chicken on the pizza… all it is is boiled chicken which is then shredded… no seasoning or grilling or anything(dominos & Pizza Hut have much better chicken on their pizza). I probably won’t go back again but I felt like my boyfriend needed to eat there at least once in his life.

The restaurant smelled bad inside. The bathrooms were disgusting. Our server cared more about what was on her cell phone than taking care of her tables. My wife ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and I ordered a pizza. Her sandwich came out in approximately 45 seconds and my pizza came out in about 30 minutes. When asked we were told(with attitude) that our food came from different kitchens. The toppings on my pizza were raw. The food is ridiculously over priced. Never again will I step foot in a Dough Roller restaurant again.

From the outside it looked nice, got inside smelled like a damp basement. The hostess had an attitude when we asked for a booth. Waitress was sweet, her first day so she was a bit nervous. Ice tea was sweet. We ordered burgers and fries. They were ok had better. Hubby had a chicken n sweet pepper sandwich. It was horrible. Décor was dated. Will not come here again.

The service was terrible. The accommodations weren’t great. The best and highest quality food my entire party of 11 people had was the Heinz ketchup. The sandwiches came with everything including the cheese on the side, the omelette looked like it was fresh out of the microwave. My hash browns were not extra crispy and may have still had dirt from the farm they grew on. Lastly, the order for literally every person was messed up and incorrect, and it wasn’t busy in the least bit. I’ll never return.

Tourist TRAP! The food isn’t good it isn’t terrible. But, it’s mediocre at best. Do not waste your money here. By the way, I really hate giving this restaurant a bad review because the service was VERY good and very nice. I left them a nice tip in spite of the food.

Service was wicked fast… but the pancakes were average at best… sorry. But the real reason for the bad review is the coffee… it was terrible… sorry again. If you’re a coffee lover this restaurant is not for you. But if you’re in a hurry you may want to give them a try …but have the orange juice.

Our family stopped in for lunch and ordered pizza and fries. The pizza was eh, but at least the fries were hot. We ended not eating much because the food just wasn’t that thrilling. When the waitress asked us if we wanted boxes, she seemed shocked as to why we said no. I ended up caving and saying yes to taking the pizza back with us but needless to say… We ended up throwing it away. I don’t think I would ever go back when we return to OC. It’s just not worth spending that much money for food I just didn’t care for.

It might not be apparent from its appearance, but the Dough Roller is basically your classic American restaurant serving a whole lot of stuff other than pizza(like burgers, spaghetti, hot dogs, and the works). The menu was more expansive than I imagined and reasonably priced, so it will be easy for a group of you to each find something that you like. 3 of us split a medium(15″) supreme pizza, and it was more than enough to feed all of us. I would definitely come back here next time I have a pizza craving in Ocean City, although I wish that they had more pizza varieties. There was no wait on a busy summer Saturday night when a lot of other nearby restaurants were packed, which was a huge plus.

A long time tradition of stopping off at the dough rollers for breakfast has officially come to an end. Runny eggs in a $ 12.00 omelette and burnt potatoes makes for a horrible breakfast experience.(Please see pictures)

I really hate to dog pile on this place but quite honestly it’ll be fun and the when you sum it all up I find it hard to review this place anything more than what it is which is a two star tourist trap dump. Now when I say dump I don’t mean that the place looks like a dump because it does not. I mean dump because the food at best is mediocre, the prices are insane for what you’re getting and the staff was very much in «offseason mode» which meant a lot of standing around and doing nothing or watching the one cook fiddle with his iPod while«cooking» things. Good: * Big parking lot * The check had no errors * Our server«M» took my payment at the end almost as soon as it hit the table Bad: * With only five or six other occupied tables it shouldn’t take north of twenty minutes for pancakes & eggs. * Having as much staff on as they did it wouldn’t have killed people to clean/clear dirty tables instead of letting things sit I guess figuring that because they knew they would be slow it could be done«later». Ugly: * Most of the breakfast potatoes we got were some combination of hard or burnt to the point of being inedible. * Flat out the prices. $ 8 for what gets served with a kids meal breakfast is grossly overpriced just like the $ 11 or $ 12 dollar omelets. Nice idea in premise to stay open year round especially when there is no way they’ll ever be busy but at the same time it’s stupid to hose people down just because it’s a beach town or because you assume that you have a captive audience because a lot of that audience will be one and done types like me.

We were looking for a place to eat some breakfast on our last day here in OC. My boyfriend suggested here because of it’s location being right next to our hotel. Something told me to say no, but I made majority of the dining decisions on our trip and decided to keep my mouth shut. Yikes! Why didn’t I say anything! I’ll start with the positives. The service was decent. Aside from a minor mistake with our drinks, our waitress was friendly and did a good job keeping up with us. Now… the food. Or should I say«food.» Everything with the exception of my hash browns tasted like it was microwaved gas station food. The eggs my omelet were made out of were slimey and had a sort of glossy look. You can tell it was pre-made egg beaters with barely melted cheese on the inside. The pancakes were the same. Obviously frozen and just heated up. Edible, but in need of so much more. My boyfriend kept mentioning how he felt they were gummy. I couldn’t even cut them with my fork. You shouldn’t need a knife to cut pancakes. If the prices wouldn’t have been as high as they were I think I could have excused the food. However, almost $ 10 for two thin frozen pancakes, a gas station omelet, and decent hashbrowns is not cool. Not too mention that this was pretty much the best deal on the menu. Skip this place and go to a more authentic mom and pop breakfast diner. That’s what we should have done in the first place.

Worst food we’ve ever had. 3 spagetti dinners were returned because the pasta was swelled up like earth worms and cold with microwaved pizza sauce on top. Corned beef sandwich was tough and had a hair in it. Mexican dog that claimed on the menu to be loaded with chili had about 2 chili beans on it and was sour tasting and inedible. Complained to the manager and noticed a 2 gallon bucket filled with spagetti noodles in the kitchen where 2 cooks were leaned against the counter doing nothing. How hard is it to boil pasta to order? 7 minutes for perfect pasta and took longer than that for them to microwave 3 spagetti dinners. Worst of all that sodas are THREEDOLLARSEACH! Service was ok but food was terrible! Would leave no stars if I could. The restaurant was also FILTHY! Tables left uncleared and there were only 3 other dining parties in the whole restaurant so not like they were busy. A fake mustache was stuck to the mural in the back room which at least provided us with a little laughter see pics. I wonder if its still on the wall where we returned it after taking pics? Gross and over priced! You are better off going to Burger King than this place!
