We stayed here for 3nights(Memorial Day weekend) and it was very cheap considering the holiday and how close it is to the beach. Two blocks away. I thought this place was awesome. They have a heated pool. And the room fit our family of four comfortably. The kitchenette actually have two stove tops and it’s fully equipped with pots and pans and all kinds of utensils. It’s super close to an Acme and a wawa. Rooms were very clean. And staff was very friendly. My only complaint is how far is is from the boardwalk. Definitely need to drive there. But it’s also probably why it was so quiet, which is a plus in my book. I would stay here again in a heart beat

We have come to Ocean City for the past 5 years and always stay at The Crossings. And we have enjoyed most of the motel’s features. The pool is very nice — small, but very clean and usually not over crowded. The Internet is slow, BUT… you’re on vacation! Go to the beach! The location is convenient, two blocks to the beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. It is pretty far from the boardwalk, though. So if you plan to spend a lot of time there, you might want to stay somewhere closer. The people who work at The Crossings are very nice and always greet you whenever you first walk in. They also try hard to accommodate your needs whenever possible. This isn’t a fancy motel. It is a comfortable, clean, friendly, affordable place to stay with the family on your beach vacation. You can definitely pay more, but for most people, The Crossings will be a memorable and positive experience.

I’m not all that thrilled with this place. I WAS very pleased with how nice the room looked and its cleanliness. And the air conditioner worked great, even on low the room was freezing within minutes. But the bed was about as comfortable as sleeping on a wooden plank. Worst nights sleep ever. The lighting was somewhat dim, mostly in the bathroom, which made it a little difficult to put on my makeup. And the light on the balcony right outside of my door was not working. The stairway is inside the«lobby»(which gets locked at night and you need to enter a code to get in), and through another door. You can only go DOWN the stairs on the other end because the door at the bottom locks from the outside. Not a big deal, but I am a fan of stairs instead of elevators. Ice isn’t free either! It’s only a quarter… but… it’s ice! There are no amenities other than the pool, not even breakfast(just coffee i think — and none was supplied in the room, although they did supply a coffee pot and filters??), but I don’t think many other hotels in the area have many amenities either. Aside from the rock hard bed, my biggest problem was the internet. It was very VERY slow, even at full strength. Barely working at all at some points. But it’s only a couple blocks to the beach, Wawa is right next door, and there are other stores and restaurants in walking distance. I came right before the peak season, so as for the rates going much higher in the summer, I personally would NOT pay that much. I’d rather pay a few dollars more for one of the other hotels that’s directly across from the beach, although I cannot say if those hotels are as clean as this one, but they HAVE to be more comfortable…
