Everything we ordered was amazingly perfect. From the crab bloody Mary(worth the price), to the super large lump crabcakes, to the tequila shots for dessert. Service was excellent considering how busy it was in February only showing how good everyone else thought it was too. The only reason(s) for the 4 star review: 1. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was very thin and probably instant 2. Very outdated interior with little table privacy(don’t come here for an intimate date) 3. They were single person bathrooms and no way to tell it was occupied so I had a few people try to walk in in me I would most definitely recommend for the awesome crabcakes!

Came here with friends for brunch. Place was packed on a 20 degree winter day, which is a good sign for a restaurant. Very good comfort food. Kind of depressing for me to see people getting hammered this early, but that may not matter to everyone, and I’m not judging, just offering that in case that bothers you or if you are bringing kids.

Amazing; sat at the bar and had awesome fish tacos for Tex Mex Tuesday. What a gem for the offseason and in season! Cait was our bartender and made awesome bloody Mary’s while entertaining the whole bar. We will be back and will be ordering online from home soon!

Simply GREAT crab cakes! Everything else was also very good but it is a crab cake factory, a great one.

While I discovered that I do not actually like Bloody Mary’s, I’m very impressed with theirs. To top them with loads of seafood and or bacon? Genius! I may not have enjoyed the actual drink but I feasted on the ton of jumbo lump crab meat that came on top on a skewer! One in my party said it was the best bloody mary she has ever had. We had a party of 8 for lunch and out waitress was very sweet, kept up with all of us and gave great, honest suggestions for the menu. I ended up with the Crab Pita Pizza– Pita, fresh diced tomatoes, crab meat and cheese. Can’t go wrong! I maybe should have asked for less cheese but that is 100% my fault, as my lactose-intolerant self can’t resist ordering things topped with cheese lol, and this pita had lots of it. I bet this would be a really fun place for come during the regular season, but even in October during a hurricane, I enjoyed it! Now for my next trick, I will review Crabcake Factory Bayside, which I went to the very next day for lunch…

This place deserves a 3.5 stars. Since they were known for their crabcakes, my husband and I shared the Jumbo all lump crabcake sandwich with homemade kettle chips and slaw. The bread was nice and soft. The crabcake was delicious filled with lumps of crabs. It was pretty tasty. We also ordered the Maryland cream of crab bisque. It wasn’t as enjoyable. The bisque tasted bland. I had to add salt, pepper, and old bay seasoning to enhance the flavor. And I also kept getting crab shells in every bite. My friend ordered the Crab Bloody Mary, which was garnished with huge chunks of crab meat on top. It was a pretty interesting drink, if only you like to drink bloody Mary’s ofcorse. Overall, an enjoyable meal. Staff was nice and attentive. They have indoor and outdoor patio seating. Also, plenty of TV’s inside for ppl who like to watch sports.

Ordered wings and a cheeseburger. The wings were pretty mediocre and had too much breeding on them. They weren’t good. Slimy skin underneath. Afterwards my stomach was bothering me. The ranch dressing was bland. My boyfriend ordered a cheeseburger and it was also nothing to fall in love with. They forgot the mustard and it just wasn’t good. We will never eat here again. On another note the bartenders were very friendly.

If you plan on vacationing in Ocean City like I recently did, all you’re going to want is time to relax and seafood to eat. I mean, you’re in a beach town, so it’s a no-brainer! They claim to have the best crabcakes in OC, and Crabcake Factory USA absolutely does. The lines outside will account for this, so make sure to plan your evening accordingly. Whatever the wait may be, though, be patient. Whether it’s 15 minutes or 50 minutes, take the time and enjoy the bar in the back. While the bar may be busy, the bartenders are attentive, friendly, and ensure that everyone has a beverage. When we finally sat(there were 8 of us and it only took us 30 minutes!), we were greeted by a very patient waitress. She allowed us to take the time to explore the menu and ask a million and one questions about what certain dishes were. I settled on the two lump crabcake meal, and oh my goodness gracious — it was AMAZING! The crabcakes were perfectly cooked — moist, flavorful, and hearty. We also ordered the crabcake mac & cheese, and if you think it sounds good, think much greater. It was, well, heavenly. Overall, our experience at Crabcake Factory was flawless. The crowds may be crazy, but it is organized chaos that is more than understood once you sink your teeth into the first bite of perfectly fresh crab.

Not the place to take family. We were seated by an obnoxious group that was very loud and every other word was the f bomb. A male employee heard this and warned them to no avail. It continued through our entire meal upsetting everyone near us. We mentioned it to the manager on our way out and as soon as we pointed out who it was he had no interest any longer in doing anything about it.

Great service, ridiculous brunch, and drinks that will leave you floating in or out of the water. The family and I went here last time we were in OC, once for breakfast and once for a postprandial drink. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. +1 for some of the best scrapple I’ve ever had(#EasternShore). The waitstaff was terribly friendly and responsive, and their booze — from mimosas to grapefruit crushes — get you were you are going, quick.

The food was amazing. The lump crab nachos on the starters menu was the best nachos I’ve ever had. The taste of crab in every bite of nachos just made that dish incredibly tasty. My wife and kids loved the crabcakes and crab mac & cheese, but my lobster roll was to die for! We came here for dinner on a Saturday, so it was absolutely crowded. We waited 20 to 30 minutes for our table, but it was worth the wait. Once we sat down and saw the food choices on their menu, it was like we were reminded that we were on vacation, and the rest of the evening was just magic. The staff was great and food arrived at our table quickly. The only problem we had was that after the main meal, we were all so stuffed that we literally had no room to sample any desserts. Tip: Arrive at 5pm or 5:30pm at the latest on a Saturday for dinner because when we were leaving at 7, there were people sitting on the sidewalk waiting for their table.

There’s no question this would be at least a four-star review if not for two things: the terrible attitude of the host(perhaps a manager because there was already a hostess and this gentleman was fairly older) and the lack of quality A/C during the dog days summer. Regarding the manager, here’s the skinny. We’re a party of three adults and two high-chairs. The hostess tells me the wait is 40 minutes. It’s 90 degrees out and there’s no where to sit to wait, so what do we do? We head outside and walk around for a bit to keep our two toddlers occupied. We come back 25 minutes later and when I check our status, the gentleman is there along with the hostess this time and, clearly frustrated, he tells us he just called us and we weren’t there and he took the high-chairs away already. She was great. He was fed up. I’m standing there holding my 2-year-old daughter in my arms stunned at this guy’s behavior. Listen, I get it. It’s hot. You’ve got a busy restaurant and you’ve got to keep things moving. You had moved on from us despite telling us too long of a wait time and our return caught you off guard. You’ve gotta run the biz, I understand. You could have told us to wait another 15 minutes had your attitude been different and it would be fine, we would understand. That being said, I’ve got two toddlers and your tight dining room is lacking A/C. Asking us to sit there for 40 minutes is quite the chore. I came back 15 minutes early. I apologized to the gentleman as we went to our seats and told him I appreciated it and he didn’t even look at me. Not even a slight twitch of his pupils toward me. Listen pal, I get you were annoyed. Sack it up, smile through your teeth and show just a hint of customer appreciation. I dropped $ 120 at your restaurant. A «no problem» goes a long way. All that said, the crab cakes were packed with lump meat and little filler. These were memorable crab cakes, hands down among the best I’ve had, and I’m a Marylander. The crab meat Bloody Mary was quite the treat, even at a hefty $ 15, with an impressive garnish of thick crab meat chunks. What a sight — it’s a must get. The waitress was great, very friendly and enthusiastic. The food came out exactly at the right pace. An older lady, likely the manager, was a delight when she took our check at the end of the meal because our daughter was tiring out. We were nice and sweaty by the end of our meal because it was so toasty in there, so dress down and prepare to be in tight quarters. If you love a good crab cake and can handle the heat and the attitude, then this place is for you.

My better half and I went on a Monday morning. There was no wait and we were promptly seated. We ordered lump crab egg Benedict, one begnet, healthy choice, and one crabcake. Everything was delicious! The Hollandaise sauce was rich, the crab meat was plenty, and the crabcake was heavenly. The begnet was scrumptious. The healthy choice was perfect for a light fare. Loved it all. I docked one star because the wait for food was rather long.

I think 3 stars is a bit generous. The staff is really the only reason for so many stars. The hostess was super friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was super attentive and refilled our drinks very frequently. For all young, foreign kids, they were great. Everyone was really helpful and efficient. As for the food, I was not as impressed. Two people in my party ordered the«shaved prime rib» and it most definitely was not prime rib. It was mediocre meat for a hefty price. Also, we ordered vegetables on the side and apparently they only have snap peas. I think that’s something that should have been mentioned. I ordered a lobster roll which I found to be too oniony and very heavy. Their«famous» crab cakes were also subpar. Rather than thinly shredded crab, it was chunky and not very pleasant. The wedge salad was great. Their fries were good too, so there’s that.

A great place to stop by when you are in Ocean City. I’ve been here for dinner and breakfast and both are exceptional! It is just a block from the beach so it;s in a great spot for lunch as well if you are coming from there. There is a nice partial outdoor seating area with a view of the main drag. Their specialty is obviously crab, but I had an ahi tuna nacho entrée for dinner on my visit. Very nice twist to traditional seafood choices there. It had an Asian sweet and sour sauce with seaweed salad over won-ton looking nachos. Very delicious and has a kick of spice at the end. My one breakfast visit I did not get much, just fruit and a bagel with cream cheese and coffee, but everything was served promptly and looked and tasted fresh. My friends had other breakfast sandwiches which were also delicious. I would definitely come back here for happy hour, and any other meal of the day!

This place has awesome happy hour specials! A pretty extensive menu with hefty portions for plates that are $ 5 – 8 each with plenty to share. $ 5 orange crushes and bloody mary’s during their happy hour as well. They’re also know for their $ 30 bloody mary full of jumbo lump crab meat, shrimp and other fixings – it’s practically a meal! Few downsides to this location… happy hour specials are restricted to the bar and a PORTION of the deck, which proved to be extremely inconvenient for our party with children. Not exactly a kid-friendly establishment. Some of the servers seemed annoyed having to walk through us to get to tables, but we weren’t allowed to receive HH specials if we sat at the large booth which happened to be within the HH area. weird. Also, the shrimp was severely undercooked on 2 separate plates. The waiter was very kind, agreed it was undercooked and brought us firmer shrimp but the initial plates made us lose our appetite a little bit. Not to mention how sick one can get from undercooked shrimp. yikes! They appear to have a nice brunch menu so I plan on returning to try their extended menu at a different time.

I got takeout and it was really good. I ordered some crabcakes and the fried shrimp basket with fries. The shrimp was pretty good and the fries okay but lets talk about the star of the whole meal the crab cake. It was a good size and pure crab meat not a lot of breading. I’m not sure what seasoning they used but it was delicious. I didn’t get to try the other items on their menu but if everything is as good as the crab cakes I will be back next time I’m in town.

Food was amazing!!! I had the BBQ chicken and crab cake with a baked potatoe. I was full and had enough to take home after wards. The drinks were made fresh. We got the orange crush and the pineapple crush. Yum! They let us keep our mongrammed cups! The bar was packed and dining area was also. But we got seated right away. Check this place out!

Sigh… I really make an attempt to try other places for crab cakes when I’m home. Granted, the crab cakes here were quality but the overall presentation and flavor was meh. B+: Crab Cakes — I will give them A+ for quality, large chunks of crab but there was not enough seasoning and the tartar sauce didn’t taste like homemade ones. B-: Fries — B minus because of the hype they put on their fries, best fries ever? I don’t think so C: Crab Pizza — Ohhh I miss Seacrets crab pizza. OMG F!!! on the horseradish sauce! My mouth was offended, so were my parents. C-: Crab Dip — were there any crab in it? Too salty and not enough texture. A: Garlic Green beans — the only thing I felt healthy eating A: Steak — love the charcoal taste, nicely seasoned Honestly if it wasn’t for the quality of the crab cakes, I would give this place 2 stars. Did not meet my demands :/No parking, I can’t imagine what it’s like during peak season. Definitely not a fancy place, more like a hanging out with my buddies shack.

I blame my friend for forcing us to go here. All I heard was I can’t wait to go to the Crabcake Factory, oh how great this place is and then I get there and I was totally let down. The service was just okay, a good portion of the staff appear to be European students on summer visas so the communication issue is there, it isn’t too difficult to work with the staff but it is a bit of a barrier. Food was kind of eh, now I didn’t get the world famous crabcake because I wasn’t in the mood for it at all. I went with the crab bisque instead, decent creamy flavor with a slight hint of crap but nothing great. I also went with the pulled pork sandwich, a tad on the dry side and too much fat not enough clean meat. Perhaps it was all the hype from my buddy that built the place up too much but Crabcake Factory didn’t give me what I was looking for.
