My stay was more than adequate. Sad all the shops weren’t open, but the 1s open brought back memories of the OC hospitality fron 40+ years ago. Thanks to the new crew we had a great time & instead of waiting till next year, we’ll be back in Sept. Don’t pay attention to the preppies writing bad reviews, its obvious they are, well you figure, send them to Cabo next year Daddy. Looking foward to my next stay… Augies better be open Dawn. I use to party @ Tony Marts back in my 20s, We knew how to have fun, & not feel entitled, when respect was important.

Very Horrible business. The owner was an aggressive biased man who abused his authority by taking it out on the guests and a friend that they had invited over. Long story short the police were called 2 times on the manager and on our room, and both times the police sided with the teen girls(rare isn’t it). The woman in charge later made a review on Unilocal to offend and lie about a review also written about this experience. She said«may not be a high star hotel like your mommy and daddy take you to» but we all payed with the money that’s we earned on our own and we were robbed. They pretty much just found any reason to kick us out so they could sell the room for the night again. Never go to Coral Sands. Aside from the experience the room was disgusting. On top of everything the man in charge was drinking all night. He posed as a threat to us not only because of his temper but mostly because of the alcohol he had consumes. It was extremely unprofessional and dangerous!

Thank you Katie for your not so «HONEST» review. The person that you say is one of the owners is not. He is the handyman and security. As for him being an «alcoholic Bat-Sh!t crazy» I think not. Hummm… it was the police that took 2 large bottles of rum and beer from your room were you and your UNDERAGE friends were drinking. And as for the door being broken in, could it been the ingenious boys who tried to break in the back window and who could have been seriously hurt who were chased several times away in the middle of the night. Just a thought. The other reason you were ask to leave(by the Manager and Police), were due to you and your friends disrupt behavior to the other patrons. Carol Sands may not be a five star MAINLINE place in which I am sure mummy and daddy take you all the time but it is a place were hard working people who like a reasonable price and good place to rest their head after being on one of the Best Beaches in America. Thank you Katie and have a great summer in… Wildwood.

Let me just start off by saying one of the owners is a crazy alcoholic who tried breaking down my door and attacked one of my friends who came by in the middle of the night. Had to call the cops on him. Poor service and the owners are bat shit crazy do not stay here!!!

What a dump and terribly expensive. $ 230 a night 2 nights in early August for 2 beds. Paint pealing and bathroom tile and linoleum floor is coming up. Parking for only one car. My brother had to walk 6blocks to find parking for the night. A picture is worth a thousand words so here thy are.

We’ve stayed here before, and felt the motel has gone downhill a bit since the last time… First off, the price is great, $ 69 for a room a block from the beach.(Although beware that prices online are different than when you call). We were able to check In an hour early, which was great. But once in, a few things were problematic… To start, there were no pillowcases on the pillows, which makes you question what else the maid missed(when we went to the office to ask for pillowcases, we’re told the maid quit that day!!). Also, there was a broken chair at the sitting area table, taped together with scotch tape. And then the bathroom… The bar in the shower was broken, and missing a handle, which could have cut you. And the shower itself was super tiny, made showering difficult. And the shower head dripped constantly and consistently all day and night, which was annoying not to mention a waste of water. All in all, price is great, room was clean, not fancy at all, and needed some fixing.

5 stars based in the value… Where else will you find a room for $ 65/night 1 block away from the beach? If I paid more, probably would have given less stars. My only«complaint» is that the mattresses are hard as a rock, very uncomfortable. Very clean, no bugs whatsoever. No bathtub, just a one person shower stall. Not a big deal unless you have small kids or if you weigh more than 300 lbs you won’t fit in the shower. No heater in the bathroom. Microwave and fridge. Desk but no dresser. Flat screen tv. The post office makes a rediculous amount of noise… You may or may not hear it depending on your room. They have adjoining rooms/suites.

All you really need to know is — my fiancé’s iPad was STOLEN from his motel room on the first day of his stay there!!! When he went to the office to report this, no one was inside. He used an intercom to alert(presumably) a manager — the only«help» offered by this person was that they should deal with it the next day and he would check with the maid(s) the next morning. The manager did not even appear to discuss this in person. Later that night my fiancé saw a man in the parking lot and advised him to be careful with his valuables, thinking he was warning a fellow motel guest. The man said he was a security guard for the motel and asked for my fiancé’s personal information and the story of the missing iPad. The guard wrote it down and told the manager(possibly the owner) Bob. Since the«security guard» was not in uniform, Bob became enraged when he realized my fiancé was speaking to other guests about the theft. He then KICKED my fiancé out of the motel(it was now 1am) and said he would call the police(we are still not sure about what, exactly.) He implied that my fiancé was ranting and raving about the missing iPad, and also implied he was underage, drunk and/or on drugs. At the time, my 29 year old sober fiancé was laying on his motel bed watching SportsCenter. The iPad was never found. We don’t even know if anyone looked for it. An explanation for Bob’s erratic behavior was never given, nor any sort of apology at all. In short — save yourself the trouble that you do NOT want while on vacation at the shore and please stay somewhere else.
