Fun hole in the wall bar, joe and amber are the best bartenders! Friendly and cool atmosphere. The inside does smell very smoky but the outside area out back is a nice escape from that. It might seem sketchy but try the turkey melt! It is delicious! This place is one of our favorites to visit and is suitable for all kinds of people.

It’a a local dive bar. Staff is friendly and drinks are strong. I am a smoker and liked that you can smoke inside but if you don’t… I don’t really see the Irish theme as much as an everyday bar painted green with Guinness signs hanging. What’s up with the John that’s like a closet and only one urinal with no toilet? I guess in a narrow place they had to put something there. Go check it out if you’re on a drinking mission, I didn’t eat there and don’t think I would. People are real nice though, had to say that again. Good luck parking.

this was the only flipping place to eat at 3pm on a Saturday in downtown Ocala… very disappointed with the other resteraunts around here. Very friendly waiter and bartenders, cool little hole in the wall alleyway enviornment. food is great, very cool place, would recommend

Stopped in for lunch with a friend. We were surprised about getting hit by a wall of cigarette smoke but it was our choice to stay despite the smell.
We both ordered salads and some chips and cheese/salsa. The salsa and cheese dip was just weird. Not warm and it was pretty watery. Looked and tated like Cheez whiz stirred into some random salsa. Everything was average at best. I’m giving them 3 stars though because the service was friendly and I bet the place is a hit with regulars. It just wasn’t that great for lunch and a beer.

the staff here are not friendly, the bar is dirty with flies everywhere. I had to wait 10 minutes for a drink while the bartender smoked his cig at the other end of the bar while me and two girls were standing there. At the end of the night 30 minutes before 2am two rude security staff took my beer i just purchased out of my hand and told me i had to leave and that the bar was closing. i won’t ever go back. I have had friends go there tell me the staff was rude to them as well.

This place has a lot of changes to make if they plan to survive in a growing downtown Ocala area. The beer is warm and flat, at best. The atmosphere is run down and out-dated as well as the 10 – 15 year old music playing outside on a Saturday night. I hope the owners read this to make the desperately needed changes.

Now I remember why I haven’t been back.
Got a groupon so hubby and I decided to go for lunch. There was a VERY limited menu. My corned beef sandwich was puny and tasteless. My husband said his O’George was greasy but just OK. I also feel this is mostly a bar. A table of young men were smoking which is allowed and was surprising and annoying.
I had not eaten there for a couple of years and now I remember why. Even at half price the meal was not worth the money.
