Crafty Cobbler

I traveled from Gainesville (an hour away) because the only shoe repair shop in town had abysmal reviews and the Crafty Cobbler had glowing ones. I had 6 pairs of shoes, 2 were slides that needed new foot beds, 2 were heels that needed new tips, and 2 needed reinforcement of the Velcro closure. I took them in at 1 p.m. on a Friday and figured I’d be returning the following week to collect them. Nope! The lovely woman at the counter spoke with the cobbler and said they could all be fixed within an hour and a half which would save me a trip back. All repairs were top quality, as were their professionalism, pride, and friendliness. All my shoes and heels were polished and I received a 20% discount for bringing in 6 pairs (10% is given for 3 pairs.) So, for less than 50 bucks I got 6 pairs of shoes I can wear again. Will definitely support this business for all my shoe repair needs. They’re awesome!

More importantly they have something that’s difficult to find these days. That’s pride in everything they do. They treat each item they take in as if it were their very own and they treat it with expert care until the job is done.
Bonus points for selling (at a great price) any items that are unclaimed.

This shoe repair really fixes shoes the right way, making them look pretty close to new. I took in three different pairs: expensive cowboy boots, boat shoes, and cycling shoes. They all were properly repaired and they did it quickly for a very reasonable price. Clean, orderly place with friendly, knowledgeable staff.
