Just what a hardware store should be… local, friendly, knowledgable and they have just that thing you forgot you needed… and i dont consider the prices out of line…
Sure beats miles of aisles looking for the right fastener.

This is the hardware store you would find in Mayberry. Sooo friendly, and helpful. Prices are a bit higher than box stores, but it’s reflected in the actual knowledge. I saw many parts that I ordered online for repairs. I could have walked in here, got advice on using the item, and not have to put up with all those return shippings, restocking fees, reordering, shipping costs, and time waiting. Store is not cluttered with appliances, but proper accessories for your household. I came in for a very difficult key (to find) to get copies. Looked at it in my hand, on the keyring, and called out the part number. He didn’t have 2 in stock, but dozens. Wow! I tried the box stores, and called 13 locksmiths. Testing my luck, I asked about a second. «Yep, how many you need? That’s a camper type key». I forgot my wallet. «Drop off the money on your next visit». You can bet I will be back for this kind of service.

Good prices, friendly people and I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and asked if I needed help finding something, which I did. He led me right to what I needed and it wasn’t expensive at all. Plus they had aisle displays full of sale-​priced items that you could pick through to see if there’s anything there you need or want.
I’m definitely going back anytime I need hardware. They carry building materials as well.
