Frontier Motel

There are exactly 3 places to stay when visiting Oberlynn Ks and sadly the Frontier is one of them. Don’t get me wrong I have been staying at the Frontier Motel since I was about 3 years old (we have family in Herndon and are always going back for the Ox Roast). But truth be told this motel has seen better days… like before I turned 10. The rooms are outdated, the beds are HARD and OLD and cleanliness is questionable. There was a time when this was the only option in town so they could get away with it but now there is anther motel right down the street so competition is heating up. By the way don’t let them fool you with the whole wifi deal. You will be lucky if you can get a signal so don’t count on it.
So yeah there is not much choice in little Oberlynn and if you have to stay somewhere this is one of the few but I would try to get into the other places first before resorting to this motel. It just needs to be overhauled before it can be great again (if it was ever great to start with)
