NOSTARS… I only picked 1 because I had to!!! My daughter went to Vickys Nails on ½/2016 with her friend. The girls were excited about having their nails done for the first time togethe. My daughters nails were done by the angry lady who works there, the older man worked on my daughters friends nails; they both got full sets of acrylic nails. My daughter said the woman didn’t spend very much time on her nails, approximately 25 minutes, and it showed. Her nails were lumpy, and very poorly painted instead of using the colored powder. My daughters friends nails were«okay», but nothing to be excited about. So, since I wasn’t there; the next day, I left a message expressing our unhappy service, no call back. So, I went there in person, the older guy, who says he’s the owner said he would repair them, and to come back, so we did! Only to find the lady who had butchered her nails yell and start conversing in their language, while the«owner» called my daughter over and said he was only going to fix a few nails, so I expressed how I wanted all of them fixed. While all of this was happening, my daughter wanted a different color, so the loud mouth woman screams at us «$ 5.00 extra to change the color»! I’m very irritated now, and the«owner» says«yes, you have to pay extra»!!! I told the«owne» that they should attempt to make things right, then he yelled at us, and said«just sit down», gesturing to my daughter, who by the way is only 15, and is now uncomfortable watching this man yell at her mom. No my daughter doesn’t want to have them done. Feeling extremely uncomfortable. I asked for a refund instead, and told them we don’t want to have them touch her nails again, so he continued to shout, yell and said, «I have a witness»! we tried to fix the problem. Who wants a violent person working on their daughters nails? No one, so I let him know that I would be reporting him if he doesn’t refund our money, he said, he would not refund our money because it was a lot of steps and also, he didn’t want to. I’m infuriated with this place, completely unprofessional, and clearly shady on what they charge for, then don’t provide the proper service of a nail salon. Please be careful, this place scams their customers!!!

Effortless pedicure. They didn’t take time to make this a pleasurable experience at all. Then charged me an extra $ 2 to use my atm card.

My daughters and I went here for several pedicures. Nothing fantastic but it got the job done. One day my husband took the girls and my youngest came back complaining that the lady had seemed angry and had been very rough. I told her to speak up loudly if that ever happened again. The next time we went I experienced her anger myself. I had to keep asking her to stop. She was obviously upset about something right from the beginning because she kept glaring at the guy and talking loudly in another language. On the same trip they guy who was doing my oldest daughters pedicure cut her big toe open which got horribly infected. Never Again.

Very disappointed with this place. I called asked if they could could do a manicure with gel polish I was told 15 – 20 minutes by the man on the phone. I get there and the lady yells 45 minute wait. I ended up going to City nails and Spa. I was treated way better and got a great manicure from Kim. Nicer interior also.

Very nice people. But I am so disappointed with the job done. Went I. For a pink and white fill on a Wednesday and by Sunday they are already looking like they are 2 weeks old! Paid 32.00 which I feel is expensive for a fill also. I used to go here years ago and was happy but not anymore! :(

I went here twice. The set I received was nice, nothing to rave about. It’s in the shopping center, easy to find parking and the shop is okay. A bit cluttered and aged a bit. Nothing terrible but again, nothing great. I stopped going for one reason– the sets take FOREVER. I’m talking 2 hours for a full set. Yep. 2 hour minimum. They guy was so sweet and kept apologizing for how long it took. If you have the time, it’s a great place. Local. Easy access. The staff was friendly too.

A very small, simple salon run by a cute little couple. Unless they’re already attending to two or more customers, you shouldn’t have to wait very long to have someone sit you down and get started, which is understandable for such a small place. The husband is more talkative of the two and really friendly; whenever I see him tending to the other customers they seem to enjoy speaking with him. The wife is a bit quieter but is also really, really nice. She’s the one does eyebrows(though doesn’t come in on Sundays), and does them quickly and efficiently. By default she does them a bit on the thin side for me, so just let her know if you’d like them to be more natural or if you want just a clean-up. Recommended, but if you don’t want to wait, be sure to come in when it isn’t rush hour time, or set up an appointment beforehand.

I only went to Vicky’s nails because a family member gave me a gift certificate for a mani and pedi as a birthday present. I usually go to Century Nails in Antioch, which is a much better salon, in my opinion. While Vicky’s Nails is a very clean establishment and I have to say that the hot towel wrap they do on your legs during their pedicures is quite nice and a step further than most salons go, there are other things lacking in their operation. For starters, the whole thing took FOREVER. I was there for nearly two hours for just a mani and pedi. I have never seen people move so slowly in a nail salon in my life and I was the only person there! Secondly, the people there are extremely unfriendly and hardly talk. The only person that even cracked a smile once, was the elderly gentlemen who did my manicure(which was the longest manicure I have ever had). Thirdly, they will push more expensive things on you without telling you up front that it will cost extra. During my pedicure my phone rang, it was a family member and I told them I couldn’t talk because I was getting a pedicure. When asked where at, I quickly explained I was at Vicky’s because I had received a gift certificate as a birthday present. Right after I got off the phone, one of the ladies there came up to me and starts talking me into getting a different manicure(even though I had already picked out my colors) telling me that this other kind of manicure they did would last for nearly four weeks. She made it sound as if it would cost the same as a regular mani, that it was just a different procedure with a different set of colors to choose from. In hindsight I think she most likely did this after hearing I had a gift certificate and knowing that they wouldn’t be making any money off of me that day. So after the world’s slowest manicure, I find out that even though I have a thirty dollar gift certificate; surprise, surprise, I owe an extra fifteen bucks because the mani that was pushed on me was more than a regularly priced one. It wasn’t a huge deal but I was a tiny bit irked that I wasn’t told it was extra up front and that it had taken so very long… but I paid it without complaint, figuring that if it really did last as long as they said then it just might be worth it. It turned out to be a total waste of time and money! By day three I discovered that the polish of the so called«long lasting manicure» had separated from my nail at the bottom and it was starting to peel upward. By day four the polish had to be removed. So much for lasting four weeks! Needless to say, I will continue to go to my regular nail place and will not go to Vicky’s again, even if I am given another gift certificate.

Very basic nail salon. Not fancy. A bit cluttered. But it is clean — they scrub down the foot basins in the chairs right after they’re done with your pedi. I got a mani-pedi from Maile, who was friendly and pleasant. Her work was very detailed, and she gave a nice massage. They take the hot towel wraps here a little further than any place I’ve been before: they wrap your feet and legs in the hot, moist towels, and then they wrap them up in plastic bags and let you soften up for about 5 minutes. It was very relaxing. The price was average: mani and pedi for $ 31. I would definitely return.

You know, I have yet to find a better nail salon around. My whole family has been coming here for over 10 years. They do airbrushing and the pedicures(or should I say foot massage, because they are the main reason I come!) are the best I’ve ever had! Even though I’ve long moved away, they always remember who I am. They make conversation with me, catching up on my family and letting me know when the last time one of my old friends or family came in to visit. This is nice, because I don’t need to wait for a friend to come with me, because I’m already among my pedi & mani friends. I give my coodo stars to the team at Vicky’s Nails.
