This an Italian resturant? Not only was the food terrible(when I FINALLY got my to go order, the food was cold, burned and not to mention tastless! I’m pretty sure the minestrone is just boiled water with some veggies thrown in) the service was awful as well. I’d pick Olive Garden any day over this place.

This was my 2nd time coming here. First time was for dinner 3 weeks ago and then this morning for brunch. My dinner experience– food was good but from the time we were seated it took 15 minutes to have a waiter(that we flagged dwn) bring us water. Once we finally had our order taken it was 45 min into our seating. Ordered calamari for appetizer which was tasty and all of the pasta dishes we ordered were tasty as well. I wanted to find a nice brunch spot and thought to give this place another shot. Even though the service was horrible the first time the food was good. We were seated after finding a waiter because no one was at the front reception area to seat customers. Once we were seated it took 10 min to take our drink order. The waitress was such in a hurry to leave our table she didn’t wait to hear our appetizer order. The restaurant had 3 tables including ours total. 2 servers on staff. I have no clue why it took so long to take our food order. Coffee was never refilled. I ordered a mimosa which was forgotten and had to be reordered Once our food came out it was wrong! My omelette had spinach(didn’t request spinach) and the other omelette was missing the meat. Once again the server is to much in a hurry and to busy to be bothered. I had to escalate my voice to get her attention and still she was walking away before we could tell her all of our concerns. All in all I won’t be back here. Good food… horrible horrible service!!! I’m rating 2 stars for food only…

We enjoyed our meal at Carpaccios. The raviolis were great and our service was good. Cute restaurant for Oakley…

3rd time visiting this establishment, 2 times during lunch, 1 time for dinner. Tried giving this place a chance but just not good to me. While the food is hot, there is absolutely no flavor or seasoning what so ever. Bland, bland, bland, bland. Did I say bland? I’ve tried the fettuccine alfredo, spaghetti & meatballs, seafood pasta dish & the fettuccine jambalaya. None of them were the least bit enjoyable even to the point we threw away the leftovers we brought home when trying to eat the next day. My favorite Italian places are Buca di Beppo in San Fran, Salvatore Ristorante in Walnut Creek and Giovanni in Berkeley(now closed due to fire). Unfortunately Carpaccio does not measure up in any way to those restaurant’s, which is too bad for Oakley. Oakley deserves better.

We used to go to the Antioch Carpaccio’s for years and the food and service was always very good. Their dip for the bread was«to die for» delicious and their salads were always cchilled and their Minnestrone soup was very authentic and flavorful. Also their food was always fresh and delicious, no matter what you ordered. The oener used to be the cook and he gave great attention to detail so every customer was satisfied. I’ve been to the new Carpaccio’s in Oakley, Ca for lunch a few times over the last couple of years and it was always very good and the service was good also. My husband and I went to dinner on Valentine’s day Feb 14, 2016 at about 4:30p. First of all, they were already out of fresh oysters on the shell.(I called ahead and they said they had some). So we ordered crab cakes, which were not very flavorful and very cold! They should be served hot and fresh.(I think they wre frozen, then warmed up). Our Minnestrone soup was Cold and not very good tasting — kindof blah —(different from the Antioch Carpaccio’s). Our salads were not chilled at all. My husband ordered Linguine al Frutti di Mare(pasta w/seafood) and it was just«OK», he said not much flavor. I ordered Calamari and the potatoes were stale and hard and the calamari was not very flavorful and very tough — — - Although the service was very good. So, I’m not sure if I can drag my husband back there again. .. ..

I am kind of disappointed with their food quality… Rockefeller Oysters were amazing. Hands down. Favorite part of my meal. I might just come back for these! But… Everything else was eh… I’m positive they use canned green beans and peas and potatoes looked like frozen potato wedges. Chicken was very thin. Service was good. They’re attentive and very nice. I don’t think we got our servers name, but she was so sweet. I just wasn’t a fan of the pollo piccata I ordered. My boyfriend got the salmon piccata… He said«it was alright but the Chardonnay got to him so anything could be good.» The wine glasses had lip stains on it, but that’s pretty common for restaurants to miss the rim when washing so we just wiped both of our glasses off. I was expecting a lot better. Maybe I ordered the wrong entrée?

I like going here on Friday and Saturday Nights to enjoy the Live music. Barbara will entertain you and amazingly and will do requests from many Genres of music. The wait staff is excellent also, and is very friendly and attentive. The Food is good quality and does not disappoint. The wine list is great and they carry local and Italian wines.

The best part of meal was the bread. I was served brown lettuce and I got a soup instead that was cold. Such a great facility going to waste because of poor service and food. I’d rather eat at the black bear that is dwindling away then this place m

The food here is excellent I have not eaten one thing I did not like yet. The one problem I did have here was that the wait can get pretty long when they are busy or it is the weekend. Not sure if they are understaffed or just not used to multiple customers. Went in on a Thursday with my family of four and took about 30 min just to get some waters. All together we were there about 2 ½ hours, a little long for dinner. The chicken parmigiana and pesto pasta were amazing probably my favorites and I also recommend the crab cakes. Very nice little restaurant in downtown Oakley if you’re looking for some good Italian food but make sure you’re not in a rush.

First of all I am not an Italian food lover but my hubby is, so we drove from Discovery Bay to Oakley to try this place and I am sorry to say I was extremely disappointed! The décor is lovely and the bathroom was squeaky clean. The booths are spacious enough for four to be comfortable. Now comes the uh ohs… the service was very slow and we were there early enough to beat crowds. We finally got our cocktails about 15 mins after we ordered them. Then the bread was brought and it had burned crust, but the dipping sauce was good and so was the bread if you tore off the crust. I ordered the fettucine alfredo and it was watery and extremely bland. I didn’t even eat half. The salad was good and so was my Bellini drink. a bit pricey however for what you got. However the pizza was good, veal parmesan was ok, and the ravioli’s were good. I am giving everyone’s opinion of their meal here. It took almost 20 minutes to get the final bill. Were they short staffed? I don’t know but I don’t like having to linger while waiting for the bill. It is not like we were seated in the back room out of sight. I might go back and try the weekend brunch but I won’t go there for dinner unless I want pizza

Had lunch at this place for the first time yesterday. Food was pretty good with decent prices, but services was lacking. Our waitress was the only one working, but we were only one of a few tables she was helping. When we got there it took over 10 minutes of seating there to get her to come over and take our drink order and then we asked for bread, which we never got during our entire meal.

Great place– reasonable prices, pleasant waitress. We arrived for New Years Eve dinner before a party and the food was soooo good! Salads were large and fresh, main course was yummy. We are Italian and so are a bit picky about Italian food in restaurants, but this was very good!

Went here with a group of 10. The food was good(the only reason they got such a high rating). The service was horrifying! We were there for 3 hours! I don’t care how busy a restaurant is, it should never take that long. By the time we got our food everyone was starving! The waitress looked very frantic! Horrible experience!

Our company dinner was a disaster of poor service! Their excuse… «we have several large groups» Hey, we didn’t just walk in. We had reservations. Admit it. You didn’t have near enough staff. After 2HOURS of our obviously overwhelmed server bringing us bread, drinks, more bread, more drinks, apology, more bread, more drinks, apology, and then more bread and drinks into our stone quiet room(no music or anything) we were ready to just say forget it and leave. Awkward!!! The food was just OK. The endless waiting and poor service made it where a McDouble would have been great. Our company dinner was embarrassing, awkward, and extremely unpleasant. And they added a 18% tip??? Zero Stars. I will never step into this place again.

Oakley sure has changed over the years! We stopped in to Carpaccio last Saturday for a late lunch. Pleasant décor, friendly hostess, tempting menu items, decent wine list. What’s not to like? We shared a Antipasto Misto and a Salsiccia Pizza. Both were superb, with bright tastes and pleasant subtle surprises. Servings were more than ample. We can’t wait for next time!

Recently went for ‘All You can Eat Spaghetti Monday Lunch.’ Sat next to window and found area to be dirty and extremely dusty. Waitress was prompt and friendly with our drinks and order. However Carpaccio’s spaghetti sauce is definitely OFF. Not meaty, tangy and tomato-y. Tasted like burnt anchovy paste mixed into canned sauce. Salad was OK if you like wilted lettuce leaves, generic croutons and bottled dressing. Thought AYCE included bread.(Waitress didn’t offer and we didn’t ask.) Overall, thought it was overpriced and disappointing which is a shame because restaurant has a lot of potential! Carpaccio: Dust and clean around your tables/windows for appearance sake and please improve food quality. At $ 22/pp could be better spent at an Olive Garden or Pasta Pomodoro. Il prossimo!

The food was horrible !!! Don’t waste your money !! The service was pretty poor also. My daughter in law even said my spaghetti was better. The broccoli soup was nasty… not sure what it was :( All four of us did not like any of the food. The piano player did a nice job.

The staff was friendly and attentive but the food was horrible. The best thing was the garlic bread, which was meh. I’ve had better microwaveable, frozen chicken alfredo at a quarter of the price. The food was cold when it arrived at our table. The chicken was rubbery and the sauce bland. I was so disappointed. I had heard great things from when they were in Antioch but this was probably the worst food I have eaten at a restaurant.

We started visiting Carpaccio’s in Antioch and will always give them FIVE stars. Not sure why the ratings are so low. The staff is amazing. However, Chef, please, please improve the fried calamari, please. If you don’t, I will move this to 2 – 3 stars. Thanks, A Loyal Customer.

I wish they would have spent more of their attention the quality and consistency of their food, as they did in décor and their bar. The food is mediocre at best. When it first opened in Antioch, it was rumored the chef came from il Forniao. The food was good. But then, they went cheap in ingredients. One could tell in the final food. Or at least I noticed.
