Johanna is an extremely talented singer and a marvelous teacher. I have known Johanna for many years as a dear friend, and I recently had the pleasure of taking group voice lessons with her over the span of several months. Johanna uses an integrated teaching style that really invites you to sing with your whole body. I learned how to maximize each breath and focus on certain sounds to help with diction and range. Besides being a well educated, competent, gifted teacher, Johanna is a delightful human being. I highly recommend asking for lessons now, before she’s totally booked!

I took the first private voice lesson of my life with Johanna and she was fantastic. I was nervous and self conscious going into it, but Johanna’s professional yet relax demeanor put me at ease and allowed me to walk away having learned about breathing, pitch, and posture and effective ways to practice on my own.
