This review is geared towards the MANGONADAS only! $ 6.04 for a mangonada(I think it only came in one size) The have a parking lot on the left hand side(if you’re facing the store) that you are allowed to park in! I came at around 3pm and they had a constant stream of customers coming in but it didn’t seem like there was ever much of a wait. They used only sorbet, no shaved ice. The sorbet was delicious but so thick and sweet. I felt super guilty after devouring the sweet treat. I’m sure that if I had allowed the sorbet to melt down, I would have been left with a corn syrup-like consistency. I think I would have enjoyed the mangonada much more if it had been half sorbet/half shaved ice. There is chamoy sauce, tajin, and a tamarind powder on a table off to the side. It’s self serve. I always go crazy and add a ton of extra sauce and powder while I’m eating my mangonadas. LASTLY, a huge determination of the quality of a mangonada(in my opionion) is the tamarind candy wrapped straw it comes with — I know they buy these from a store but some places have had their straws for so long that the candy on it becomes hard, flavorless, and grainy. This place had GOOD straws.

I like the food they serve but not how they prepare it. I refuse to eat somewhere where especially if I ask for a crêpe with fruit the person handling it has no gloves. Last visit my husband brought it to the managers attention and they replaced his order. Today I go in because I was craving a crêpe and I noticed the one girl behind the counter scratching her nose. I asked if she would wear gloves to make my crêpe? She continues to scratch her nose and says that they ran out of gloves. There goes my craving. No crêpe for me tonight.

Just went to this spot with my son since I was craving a mangonada and he wanted a raspado I also got my husband some tostilocos, the girl who served me was definitely new I told the guy my mangonada tasted like nothing but chamoy and spice no mango his response was to shake it and melt the ice cream then it would taste like it… bullshit …I shaked it around and it taste straight like chamoy and spice even gave me a stomach ache I spent $ 16and it was all down the drain I didn’t even drink my drink my son had hella ice and not enough syrup for his drink and the tostilocos were drenched in hella chamoy I’m not saying united is a bad company i love united in Hayward a lot ! as of this location I’ll pass forever more I just threw away) money. Word of advice the customer is always right. people talk and if your food is good I’ll have nothing but positiveness for you but if your being lazy and don’t want to remake a drink. I’m telling you taste like nothing but a chamoyada not mangonada and you trying to make me think I’m in the wrong, you don’t deserve my business the place was empty with no one but me and my son you could have gave us way better service the that.

Super excited this neveria opened up in my neighborhood! Mangonadas, bionicos, tostilocos, fresas con crema, nieves y paletas!!! Close to 30 distinct flavors to choose from. They remind my parents of their childhood. Guanabana, Nance, rompope, piñon, guava, pistachio & more. Large and spacious venue where my family and friends can hang out. They even have a outdoor patio for private parties with a deck. Staff is friendly and always happy to serve. Come check them out and support our local neveria!

I’m so excited that there’s an Oakland location! They have a great selection of popsicles and ice cream flavors. There was so much to choose from that I couldn’t decide. The staff was helpful and friendly. I love mangos, so they recommended the mangonadas. It was sweet, sour, refreshing and TASTY! Yum! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I will definitely be coming back. =)
