Ever since I learned of the annual Thrill the World, an international flash mob in which folks around the globe dance to Michael Jackson’s iconic «Thriller» at the exact same time, I have wanted to join the fun. For three years, I registered online, practiced with YouTube tutorials, and pondered my zombie look. This year, I finally did it! Zombie #63 aka Inca Girl zombified. I recruited one of my friends from SambaFunk who happens to love horror makeup along with dancing. We attended one of the FREE dance classes taught by the wonderful Elizabeth, a Bay Area Flash Mob star, the week before and felt the two hours were a great foundation. Thrill the Day begins a few hours before the performance w more dance practice and supplies for zombie touch ups though a makeup artist was on hand to transform you (for free). The $ 10 donation went to local charities. Then it was Thrill time. Definitely a new Halloween tradition!
