Our child attended Cottage Playhouse for two years. It was a great experience! Michelle is a wonderfully warm person. The class is just 12 children in a house setting. There are two classrooms. Other families rave about Judy’s class as well. They have an assistant in each room. There is nice outside space for playing. The curriculum is structured which worked well for our child. He looked forward to the craft project each morning. Michelle is dedicated to giving kids the skills they need to be ready for kindergarten. Writing their name, recognizing numbers and patterns are just a few things. I was very impressed when our son recognized a Michelangelo painting and could tell me all the planets. They provide a nice vegetarian snack and lunch each day or you can provide your own. Your little one does not need to be potty trained to attend. Class is from 8:30 to 3:00 p.m. and they offer aftercare. Michelle would always take the time to tell me something funny our son said during the day or share observations about his development. She doesn’t hesitate to call you during the day if she notices something wrong with your child. We will definitely be sending our second child here. Most of the families with siblings do. Which is a great testimony to their service.
