I couldn’t find a necklace I bought at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, and walked into this Cathedral Shop in hopes they might carry it. Not only did they have the exact one, but they had another one that was even better quality.
The helpful cashier explained the price difference between them: one was pure sterling silver & one made of other metals. I ended up purchasing the silver one.
I also bought a few laminated prayer cards.
Excellent service too. The cashier beautifully tied my bag with ribbons and made it presentable as a gift.
I love this little shop! And the Cathedral is gorgeous as well. A beautiful gem of downtown Oakland.
