Good Mexican food! Little place is awesome! The tacos are legit street tacos as well as anything else you order. You can hang out there and eat or take it to go. Bing so close to home this is for sure 5 stars!

When we called to ask why our $ 8 burrito was so small (literally the size of a .99 bean and cheese from Taco Bell) the reply was «I don’t know what to tell you.»
Then there wasn’t even the sour cream which we were charged for.
Still hungry.
Could have bought 8 Taco Bell burritos and dealt with the impending diahhrrea and been happier.

I was hoping this could be my go to spot for convenience but I don’t think I can ever suffer through it again. I mean, even a bad burrito is a burrito, right? Wrong. The al pastor burrito was super dry, the carne asada burrito was too salty. Went here again to try the steak fries which seem to have better reviews, but it was terrible. Got half the portion size compared to taco trucks in the area for a higher price at $ 10! ridiculous. The steak fries was litterally just fries, sour cream, and carne asada. Nothing else. Oh, and the photo that another Unilocaler posted of the fries, yeah that one is twice the size of the portion they gave me. They have increased their prices and cut their sizes in half. ridiculous. I will not come back. Oh, and did I mention they close early all the time? Good luck with this one.

I used to like this taqueria but it really depends on who is working there — the tacos are good maybe ½ the time and other times, very bland.
Today, I got tacos with my friend and they got my order wrong twice (first hard shell instead of soft shell and then chicken instead of veggie). Who the hell orders hard shell tacos? This isn’t a white sitcom, why would I want that? Also I haven’t eaten meat in years so I’m likely going to be sick tomorrow. The guy tried to argue with me when I requested to have my order fixed after he got it wrong — just bad customer service.

Stay away from this taqueria, you’ve been warned. Burritos and tacos taste like old grease. I realize some people are into this corner spot based on reviews. It’s a shame. It would be amazing to have a great Mexican restaurant walking distance from your home but this place is not it.
I’m starting to think Mexican food in Oakland is subpar. Tacos mi rancho is all the neighborhood rave but has no flavor. I’ll keep looking. Check back for updates.

The food here is good I have come in a few times, I work in the area. I have had the tacos, soft and hard both good. Today I had the supper burrito and it was
big as my forearm, and I’m 6 foot three. This burrito is amazing because it’s long and skinny so you get a little bit of everything in one bit. The reason for only 4 stars is because you have to add cheese and sour cream to a supper burrito, a little strange. After adding all that and avocado it was still under 10 $ a good price for what you get. It will be a staple for my lunches while in Oakland

I normally don’t write Unilocal reviews, but this restaurant is dear to me. Been coming to this spot for over 8 years now. Their steak, cheese and fries are one of the best in town. I give it a must try for those who never had it before. Their spicy pork burrito is also really good.

Park down the driveway. I got two crispy tacos for $ 2.50 each, they do have $ 1.50 tacos, and they were loaded. Plenty of meat, retried beans, crema, lettuce cheese then I pulled it all together with a squeeze of juice from the lime wedge.
Now I’m eager to return to try other items.

This if also the only place that only serves refried beans which makes me believe they are canned.

I was really excited to move into the neighborhood knowing that burritos were walking distance away. I gave this place a chance a couple times and was very disappointed by how bland they were. I guess all they needed was time. Needed some quick food one night and called in an order; it was easy to pick up and so much better a few months after my first couple experiences. I’ll definitely stop avoiding this place and return especially with how convenient it is to call in an order for pick up. Hope it stays this good and eventually I can give this review five stars.

Super friendly service conveniently located between two 580 on ramps for easy access, and my house for easier access. Closed on Sunday’s for not so easy access.
These amigos hooked up 3 fantastic tacos for me in a hurry. They were good. The tacos contained corn tortillas onion cilantro and an assortment of meats that I, myself selected. I added some of they’re hot sauce they most graciously provided me for further assault upon my mouth.
While the tacos were prepared, I ventured to the liquor store adjacent, I would not recommend this detour. I would stay with the walls of this taco sanctuary the 5 mins it takes for perpetration.
Some gentleman before me got a burrito, it looked large and tasty.

$ 5 plus tax for an ok (not great) carne asada burrito. Overpriced for a rice, beans, and meat burrito that wasn’t exactly huge. Service was average, cute little place but I saw a line of ants by the service window, otherwise clean appearance. Won’t be back mostly due to taste and value.

I suggest you don’t buy the cheese fries, maybe for a kid. I could barely taste the cheese, I should’ve asked if it came melted. It wasn’t. Fries were cooked perfectly though.

Flies, flies everywhere, as i wait i count 9 flies buzzing in everyones face. I wait like 10 minutes for 2 lengua tacos. absurd. the lengua tacos unimpressive and the taste/​juiciness was very average, with less than average garnishing/​fixings.

This place offers a great Jalisco/​Mexico feel with the paint job, wall décor and cool artifacts. It only has a few tables which can get full quickly during lunch hour but still worth the go at any time of day.

Got the Cane Asada fries. For the price, I would have liked guac included. It was good, but could have used that at at $ 7.50, I think shouldn’t have required extra. I will be back, though, to sample their tacos or burritos and possibly upgrade. I love the slanted floor. Some construction guys were measuring things so maybe it’s being fixed. Lot of flies buzzing around in the dining area so I wouldn’t eat in. Maybe they aren’t always there, but ominous to see that. Feel ok after eating. Meat was good, not to salty. Guy behind the window was friendly. Might have been better with some hot sauce, which I didn’t think to ask for, but should have been offered it.

Finally a Burrito with some flavor!
This place might not look like much from the street.
But once you get inside, it has allot of heart.
Quick turnaround on the food and they take «CREDIT»!!
