I first have to say that in general I am not a fan of jarred salsas. Growing up in the SF Bay Area we are so spoiled by freshly made salsas at every taqueria, some better than others of course. That said, that all goes out the window with Santipapas salsas — Mark is passionate about his salsas and the quality is tremendous across the board. Spectacular flavors and extremely versatile salsas. The jars I had lasted all of about 3 days at my house — I had friends over and *poof!* there went 2⁄3 of each of the bottles. Everyone loved them — and as a guy who owns a hot sauce company, I don’t mess around with bad products because my friends expect high quality. Please don’t take my word for it — go out and pick up some Santipapas today and thank me later. These are well made, delicious salsas that are sure to please. 5 stars for sure! Mark from Santipapas knows how to make a mean salsa. He sells a few different flavors but all are equally as delicious. I cant help but eat the green/hot salsa by the spoon full. The red salsa seriously has tons of flavor and all ingredients are definitely fresh. No caned tomatoes here! Oakland is exploding with new, fresh and delicious foodie businesses. Santipapas is the leader in salsas. You can tell that this guy puts local fresh love into his product. Keep up the great work!

Santipapas salsas are simply AWESOME! Mark S. sells them in 4 different varieties and I couldn’t help but get his signature green/hot. It has just the right blend of caliente-ness and flavor! Also, the consistency is perfect for dipping and scooping. I actually just opened it today and everyone was raving how yummy it was! Needless to say, it was all finished in a split second. I’m definitely getting a larger size next time!
