Sam K Szeto, DDS

I’ve been coming to Dr. Szeto for over 10 years. His service and knowledge has always been on point. He has been able to see me or short notice for a few emergencies without any hesistation. The office does not have all the new bells and whistles, but I come for a good dentist and not the décor.

This review is based SOLELY on my experience with the dental assistant staff. She was RUDE, she was not knowledgeable of any dental practices nor did she treat me with the customer service I deserve when I plan to spend money on dental work. This is definitely Not what I expect in a dentistry office & I want to share so no one else wastes their time in such an unprofessional environment. First the dental assistant yells at you to watch a video on whatever dental treatment you need & you DO NOT have a choice. She tells you that you HAVE TO watch it. When you refuse, she says,“OH, you have somewhere else to be”. When you tell her yes, she is offended, and absolutely will not schedule you with an appointment to have said work done nor let you speak directly to the dentist. She then tells you to scram with her thick accent. She does NOT thank you for your business or invite you back.
This is a horrible joke of a Dentist Office, & I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Sam Szeto has been my dentist since forever. My whole family goes to him!
Everytime I walk up the steps to his office, it’s the same smell, the same old carpet, and the same soft spots on the stairway.
I made an appointment recently to get my teeth cleaned, Szeto is very thorough, the whole process took 45 mins, this included some small exam to make sure everything was still okay. I haven’t seen him in 5 years due to me not having dental insurance to afford the regular check-​ups.
His recommendations on file are accurate and he is not pushy to let me know that there’s some things I should come back to exam more.
I almost tried looking for a dentist closer to where I live, but for his experience and history, I’ll settle for the traffic in Chinatown to make sure I have my teeth staying as healthy as possible.

He’s been my dentist for as long as I can remember. I have had my braces with him when I was young, done my cleanings, x-​rays. He also does all the work for my family as well.
Great, fast, and does a great job!
