Ordered delivery at 12:00 AM, foreign person replied and told them to not include cheese 4 times on my vegetarian pizza. Arrives and guess what? cheese. horrible delivery service took about 2 hours.

Oakland pizza guys pizza awesome. This is the awesome pizza I never eat anyware. specially pepperoni and pineapple is amazing and yumme. I’m fully satisfied with the pizza guys. and super fast delivery also.

i ask the tender how along to take she said 45 to 50mints. then o req to her how long the pic up she said 20 to 25 min than said to her i will pic up and i was be there 15 min when i was arrvied pizza be ready and food was esteem like it fastest for pic up also i get free soda

My go-​to for pizza! we are extreme pizza fanatics and order for delivery at least twice a month. I have been ordering from this pizza guys for almost 3 years and they are always exceptional. I love that I can call in or order online. Phoning in is fast and easy. Pizza comes in great time. Best tasting pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Very consistent quality

I leave in Oakland it was awesome to order pizza in pizza guys they had all varieties of pizza specially double deal and wings tat i ordered was tasty they will delivered the pizzas too I got with in 30 to 40 mins to my place.

The worst chicken bbq pizza ever. I’m sad cuz I like their combo. This was pricey too for cardboard crust, no sauce, 2 lil pieces of chicken per piece, and some onion scraps, drowning in bbq sauce. The 3 star rating is for what I remember of their combo.

This place stole my money. Avoid at all costs. I ordered online they took my money and claimed they didn’t have my order. I showed the manager my Mobile app where it shows that they took my money and he still did not give me my order. Shiesty and crooked business

So being 10 days after delivering a baby and not in the mood to cook my teenagers dinner I ordered one of the «deals» 1 large pizza, soda and cheese bread… Since I was feeding the baby I instructed my daughter to meet the delivery guy at the door, give him his tip and get my receipt… My daughter comes back upstairs and tells me he basically threw the pizza in the house didn’t take the tip and didn’t give her my receipt… I immediately called and asked him to turn around as I want my receipt, the driver refused… I then walked into the dining room and noticed there was only pizza and soda no bread sticks. I called pizza Guys and the lady who answered (who I couldn’t understand) refused to acknowledge she was wrong when she placed my order and told me I would have to place another order and pay another deliver fee!!! I asked for a manager, she said she was the manager and I politely told her I would never order from then again!!!

The best place for gourmet pizzas n they are very fresh n tasty!!! prices are comparitively low n the best deals ul get here!!! delivery is very fast also delivery boy was very friendly… try out the BBQ n buffalo wings here they r jus awesome, crispy, tastier!!! pizzaguys is the best place for fresh n tasty pizza as :) :)

1) I hope that nobody thinks my 2-​star rating is weird because I keep ordering and the pizza itself is good and I’m into it.
But:
2) Please don’t hand the box over to me *over* my neighbor’s car as she is exiting the vehicle in front of my other neighbors. It’s super rude. I was walking around to your side and I didn’t want to cut her off. It would have taken me only an extra couple of seconds to do this. Like c’mon. =|
Also:
3) I ordered four hours in advance and it was still like ten minutes late, but I figure this was due to the time of day and battling traffic or whatever. Ehhhh.
4) Still immediately sat down and ate most of the pizza (I only stopped because I’m pretty full). So like, the pizza is good. But please be a little more courteous to my neighbors, thx.

Hi order a pizza for pizza guys to pic up I order ham pineapple and ch wing they give me 20 min to pic up and call from them 15 min and I m g g to pic up the pizza was very delicious. It’s gud and they give me free ice cream like it them service c them again.

I went to my frndz home tyey order the pizza they calling pizza guys in oakland. pizza is tastey and a gud in r area pizza guys i try it its realy different taste i like in oakland betterme and my sis enjoy it…

Superb pizza and amazing taste compare with others, they deliver too in exact time. Totally I enjoyed my meal. I ordered combination pizza it’s awesome taste was delicious… My friends enjoyed a lot

I ordered a pizza online. I specified no onions in the notes. The pizza arrived covered in onions. I called, and they first argued with me that there was no note, then agreed to either a refund or to send a new pizza in 45 – 60 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes later, I called. It will be 5 minutes. 15 minutes later I called. The driver is in traffic. 15 minutes later I called, and the person on the phone passed the phone to the «manager» who proceeded to tell me I could have a new pizza in 30 minutes, but I could not have a refund because I paid online.
What?
By this point it was just shy of 3 hours from the time of my original order.
I received a call back from the «boss.» Who argued with me for about 20 minutes, telling me he needed the pizza back in order to process the refund. He told me I put the note in the wrong place, so it was my fault that the order arrived with onions. He had me take a photo of both the pizza and the email confirmation with my no onion note. He never acknowledged that I was lied to at least three times by whoever was answering the phone, because there was NO 2^nd pizza.
When he finally consented to the refund, he first only wanted to refund the pizza, not the cinnstix. Seriously? 3 hours later, lies upon lies, and you’re still gonna charge me for some damn churros? Oh but you can keep the 3 hours old, incorrect pizza AND get a refund. For only the pizza. How generous.
I did eventually receive a full refund. But holy cow, that was the worst customer service I have ever had, to the point of being comical. If I weren’t still hungry and without dinner.

I order in here more often than I should, but good on them for it! I hadn’t been able to find good and decently priced pizza since my move (to Oakland from Tempe, AZ) until I stumbled upon these guys.
Their cheese bread is. AMAZING. On the rare occasion it’s not worthy of four stars, but 9 times out of 10 the cheese bread is to die for.
I’m a big fan of their California Garlic Chicken Pizza, and they make a mean thincrust *anything*.
Their delivery guys are friendly and very quick — I’ve never gotten an order late, and almost always get it earlier than expected!
If you need a good pizza, for fast and reasonable $$, Pizza Guys is the way to go.

Love this place forever. What a wonderful menu with wide range of varieties. The guys were so cool and had a wonderful delivery time than any pizza delivery in entire oakland.
Pizza is also very fresh and even larger than i expected. first i was shocked seeing reviews but once after my experience thought those were Fake. Thanks for a wonderful, delicious pizza and on time will never miss this place again.

If there was an option for zero stars, I would select it. Such a negative experience with this place!
Ordered a pizza around 10 PM on a Saturday. The driver called me around 11 to advise he was concerned about having his car towed for being double parked, so he basically threw my pizza at me when I met him at the door to the building. (Keep in mind that delivery people double park in the Lake Merritt area all of the time.)
When I got the pizza inside, I discovered it was not what I ordered. I called the restaurant back to advise and asked for a refund. The person I spoke with said they could only give me a 30% discount on my next order. If I wanted a refund, he said I would need to speak with a manager (but, of course, one was not on duty). Regarding the future discount, I told the employee that this was my first time ordering, and based on my experience with them, it was doubtful I would again.
He advised me to text or e-​mail him a picture of my pizza to make sure it was actually made incorrectly (Gee, thanks for basically calling me a stupid liar; I think I know the difference between pepperoni and sausage!). Then, he insisted on making a new pizza, which he said would be delivered in the next hour. (Sure, because everyone wants to wait TWO HOURS to get the pizza they originally ordered!) I asked if I should return the first pizza when the delivery person came because it was not going to be eaten, but he said I should keep it.
When the second driver came to deliver the correct pizza, he was standing next to his car, and I had to tell him to come into the gate. I guess I was supposed to go out to meet him at his car at midnight? What kind of «delivery» is that, and why am I paying $ 3.25 for it? (Especially, when I already tipped the first driver.)
I followed up with the restaurant the next day to see what they might be able to do to compensate me for the inconvenience and their «delivery» service, and the manager talked over me, didn’t listen, and gave me attitude. He said that I should have returned the first pizza; didn’t I realize that by keeping that $ 20 pizza (that I didn’t order), they had already compensated me for my inconvenience? (WHAT?!?) He seemed to completely disregard the fact that HIS employee told me to keep the first pizza! And, when I told him about the lack of customer service from his delivery people, he told me that they don’t allow their drivers to get out of their cars after a certain time (I think it was 10 PM.). Who has ever heard of such nonsense?!?
If you want lackluster pizza, running out to a car to pick up your order (which may or may not be correct), and a completely frustrating experience all around, I recommend ordering from this place. Otherwise, I recommend going to your neighborhood market and buying a frozen version. If will taste about the same, and you won’t have to deal with the BS that is rampant here.
