Cute little shop on 17th street in downtown Oakland. The owner stocks unique clothing (love the t-​shirts), hats, scarves and other accessories. You can walk around and peruse without any pressure what so ever. She travels around the world and always has items from her buying trips, especially Paris. I always feel a little Parisian when I walk in. It’s the best little shop in Oakland right now.

A great treasure in Oakland!
I was walking around downtown as I was taking a break from a meeting and I walked by this store. I walked in and immediately loved it! EVERYTHING was so cute and different from what you see in stores. The owner was «no pressure», friendly, and she knew her fashion. Just by looking at her stuff, I got so many fashion ideas that I would have never thought of on my own. Ex. Using a hair clip as a broch for one. I have gone back and have found that it’s hard to find them open, but I’m looking forward to my next trip to OakTown!

Love this little shop! The owner is so gracious and never makes me feel pressured to buy, although I do end up buying something every visit. She has beautiful, unique jewelry, hats, clothing, scarves and purses. Everywhere you look there is something beautiful and you have to look again to absorb it all.
In addition to items for myself, friends have been thrilled with the gifts I have purchased there over the last couple years. Make it an afternoon-​go to lunch at one of the great local restaurants on 17th, then hit the sweet boutiques.

One fabulous little boutique on the cutest tree-​lined street in uptown!
During my lunch break I often sneak away to see what new gifts and goodies they’ve got at Oo La La. The adorable storefront is welcoming and exudes European charm with two iron chairs and a small table filled with local event fliers gracing the sidewalk. You can smell the fragrance of Oo La La in the distance as Nag Champa incense wafts it’s way down the street.
Inside is the cutest array of well made, fashion forward items: costume jewelry, ensembles, purses, hosiery, hats, gloves, bags, key chains, shoes and more than I can list. And Tracey the owner always has a sale basket or two with marked down items. Basically this shoppe can fit any budget and wow any gift worthy pal. Visit often as the inventory changes almost weekly!

Cute store, cute clothes, cute accessories at cute prices! Gotta love it. I was in the area, and stumbled upon this store, and what a pleasant surprise. A variety of unique, quality items at affordable prices. Oh, and guess what? They also offer layaway… hot dayuumm!

I walked into this shoppe while killing time waiting for my son to be finished at the dentists’ office around the corner. I was actually going to go into the tattoo parlour next door, but tattooists apparently like to sleep late cuz it was closed. (At 2 p.m.) Anyway, I LOVE the little coin purse I picked out of a $ 5.00 basket and will definitely stop back by when I’ve actually GOT some «coin» in that purse!

If you haven’t made it into Oo la la, you just don’t know what you’re missing! The owner, Tracey, has truly found her calling — in essence, she was born to shop! Interesting and beautiful accessories? She’s got it! New ways to wear old clothes? Bring them in and she will «pimp» your outfit! I’ve shopped there for over a year and in the process developed a wonderful relationship with Tracey. Her prices are very reasonable and her taste exquisite! You will NOT see yourself walking down the street! Don’t miss out.
